  1. I’m from Rhode Island and I know there’s crazy drivers everywhere but New York is one place I never feel comfortable going. It’s insane. My parents are from NY and they don’t even feel comfortable.

  2. This is why you need an experienced driver with you if you only have a permit.
    I watched the mistake.
    1. I would have told her she was too close to the truck in front of her.
    2. Slow down and put more space in case the truck stops.
    3. She switched lanes and wasn't expecting that UPS truck to be there because she couldn't see infront of her.
You gotta look before you switch lanes.
    4. She was driving too fast.
    I hope she wasn't high.
This is so sad 😞 😥

  3. I'm going with Teen Girl with Phone in Hand Distracted. Sadly a Fatality, but young drivers need to see what happens when you allow yourself to be Distracted. Her family will forever hurt.

  4. know this road very well and where the UPS truck was parked that is a NO STANDING AT ANYTIME ZONE. If he have to make deliveries he supposed to turn of the conduit to the side street so he was supposed to make a right on 160th street and make his delivery from that position. Had he not been parked illegally the young teen driving the BMW might have stood a chance to steering to safety. MAYBE.

  5. He didn't leave with minor injuries!! He will have this on his mind for the rest of his life!!! God give both families the strength and grace to still look to the hills from which comes their help❤

  6. Maybe he had his seat belt on and that's why he survived. Also, he might have taken the car without asking permission. I mean he's a teenagers after all.

  7. The UPS truck should NOT have been parked there to make a delivery. That is a 3 lane roadway and although the young driver may have been speeding, the truck caused the hazard by being parked illegally. You can believe there will be multi millions paid out to the families by UPS before this goes to court because they know this is a prosecutor’s dream case.
    Very sad incident.

  8. God rest her soul and shame on her friend smh!! I now understand why my parents refused to teach me and my siblings how to drive when we were teenagers. It probably saved our lives. I didn’t learn how to drive until I was in my early twenties. I used to get mad about it, but now in my thirties I’m actually glad I learned how to drive as an adult and not as a teenager.

  9. So sad. It appears as though the kid behind the wheel was showing off. The boy got out unharmed?!? Usually when that happens, the person was driving while intoxicated. Did he have some sort of drug in his system? Intoxicated people usually come out unharmed in car accidents.🤔

  10. Prayers to the mother of the girl who passed. While it's not illegal to give your child a car to drive, I hope this boy is held accountable for what he did which he certainly knew was wrong. He had no business driving that car that fast anywhere, anytime. We see kids driving expensive, high-performance vehicles today who have no business doing so. I hope this kid thinks about that girl he killed every day for the rest of his life.
