I watched Jelly on Joe Rogan's podcast last week, a wonderful episode if you get a chance to watch it, and Jelly said he has the skill set to write any song, but if he doesn't feel it he won't sing/perform it. He used an example the he could write a song about hating his wife but can't sing it because he doesn't hate his wife. He wouldn't be able to sing it with the same conviction. I think that's why MGK is the lead on this song… because he couldn't do it with the same conviction. Love the reaction!

  19. I'm honestly curious to see what you guys think on the song "what's wrong with me" from Jelly's new album. That one has a great point of view for me personally and I wonder what other people's take is on that one.

MGK said in a interview with jellyroll that when he did it, it was more of a sample and jellyroll was supposed to re record it when he got to studio and he decided there was such artistry in MGK singing that he over ruled him and produced it this way. MGK didn't find out until he heard the album at release. He said he loves jelly but hates him for releasing it and showing that vulnerability
