While I think that you consistently put out great content and good analysis, I think you whiffed on a few things here. I can tell that you and I agree that TCU is a fantastic program with a great team that deserves to be in this game. I even think they can win it if they play a perfect game. But some of these “keys” are just wrong.
The Media just HAS to keep pushing this narrative of “GeOrGiA bAd!” And “TCU are the darlings of the free world”…. Lol it’s so annoying. Georgia has won one title in 40 years and now they’re the “evil empire”. Last year we were the darlings, going up against “BaMa BaD” and the whole country wanted us to win. After all the chatter about TCU being a tough team for all of their comebacks and Duggan being the runner-up in the Heisman, and only losing by 3 in the Big 12 CG – I thought TCU might be a test. But, the fact was, they looked like deer in the headlights and were totally overmatched. Their best receiver had one catch for 3 yards. Less than 40 yards rushing. Gave up 5 sacks. And on and on. It was a debacle. If the committee was looking to have the 4 best teams in the playoffs, they made a huge mistake putting TCU in there over Bama. I know what their record was. I know they beat Michigan (which played a horrendous game.) But did anybody think TCU was better than Bama? Really? Nah. And if you do, I'll have some of whatever you're drinking.
