U.S. Army Soldiers with Task Force Marne supporting NATO’s enhanced Forward Presence Battle Group Poland train alongside NATO allies during exercise Iron Spear, Nov. 13-15, 2023. Iron Spear is a multinational unified artillery exercise involving troops from the U.S., United Kingdom, Canada, Latvia, Poland, Croatia, Romania, Belgium, Spain, the Netherlands, and Italy. The 3rd Infantry Division’s mission in Europe is to engage in multinational training and exercises across the continent, working alongside NATO allies and regional security partners to provide combat-credible forces to V Corps, America’s forward deployed corps in Europe.
