Around 15 hours ago a major news media source in Eastern Europe posted documentation that indicated Russia was seeking to turn off its internet connectivity to the outside world on March 11th, 2022.
The question is whether this will affect our ability to play our favorite, Russian-developed game.
UPDATE: The Russian government has stated they have no plans to disconnect from the global internet any time in the near future. Lets hope that remains true.

tarkov may have been shut off FOR russia, but BSG is headquartered in London, the rest of the world would have still be able to play tarkov.

honestly i hope it doesnt for the people who enjoy the game but this isnt my tarkov anymore so many great additions pushed to the side by the shitty experience i personally have with this new flea stuff and kappa also with the having to play everyday or else your character becomes an actual child this game is fuckin ridiculous and trys to be better every update but to me it just seems to make it worse my whole discord which for nearly 2 years straight did nothing but play tarkov and after the first week this wipe none of about 10 people have touched the game this is not the same tarkov me and my friends used to enjoy the game is no longer fun and a temporary game with wipes shouldnt make maintaining your character an actual fucking part time job and removing all things that people like me needed off the market because im a casual despite having played it so much i dont grind for 8 hours a day in order to actually enjoy the game not to mention labs cheaters sorry to say it tarkov but i loved you but now your an overweight sack of shit that has no perceivable value
