  1. Re members of Congress as the victims, wouldn't it be sweet, sweet irony if Smith specifically named Marjorie Taylor Greene and Josh Hawley as victims? And maybe a few other Republicans. He won't do that, but I can dream, right?

I'm guessing he has good reasons to avoid getting too complicated and "in the weeds" with his approach to traitor-in-chief's crimes, as you point out. Hi Harry, it just popped in my head that doggy poo will hit the fan if indeed many co-conspirators in Congress are indicted in close succession, worried that the MAGA crowd will cause a big problem, chaos.   18. No insurrection nor sedition charges? I think Garland is so embarrassed about having to charge a former president that he's trying to set up a scenatio where Rump avoids jail time. He wants the DoJ to remain apolitical.

  23. Special Counsel Jack Smith will have put together a solid charging document that will obtain a conviction. Mr. Smith knows likely every move that the "Don" will make and his media rants will be missing in the courtroom. He will not be letting off steam in front of judges that he has attacked. The FBI must protect all members of the Special Counsel Team as Trump will go after the family first so we hope that should a Trumpee or Trumpet dare move to harm any of those members of the Special Counsel team.
    Why have Trump's prior trials such as Ms. E. Jean Carroll where Trump; moved to have the label as sexual assault versus calling him a rapist not been brought up when he is bragging on his Untruthful Social Site.
