Agree with Aaron…Ducks absolutely, positively, No way, No how can lose to Colorado… You have a great established program vs a rundown crappy for the last 30 year program with a arrogant voice box for a coach. This would ruin the season for me if the Ducks lost. How about the first shutout in 50 years this week vs Hawaii.
1) I'm a long time duck fan 2) I live in Texas 3) I had family @ the TT game and the TT defense was repeatedly mimicking the Ducks snap count. It accounted for a significant number of false starts (should have gone the other way). 4) The backfield penalties (I.e. 3rd and 18 pass interference) was all Oregon and rediculously stupid. 5) Lanning & company stated their motto during camp was "don't beat yourself". Heard it over and over. They failed epically and their adjustments @ halftime were awful. They were lucky to escape. 6) Really like that you you discussed the obvious and didn't gloss over truth. 7) The running game sucked because it looked like Mario's awful offense. Predictable and stupid. That 2nd and 1 that went to 3rd and 1 to 4th and 1 to turnover was pathetic. Can we call an up the middle play that everyone sees one more time? TT stacked the box. They knew what was coming. Do the damn play that exploits that obviois commitment. The entire 3rd quarter was idiocy. 8) Oregon has the pieces, they don't suck and if they end the self-inflicted and end the dumb play calls, they'll be on fire.
First off, really good commentary by the guys. Smart, experienced and insightful. Re: Coach Lanning: I am very glad that he is the Ducks' HC. I continue to believe that he will build and guide this program very well, BUT 14 penalties and inability to run the ball effectively and almost losing to a Texas Tech team that lost to Wyoming the week before was genuinely concerning. One of a coach's greatest challenges is to teach players NOT to "Play Down" and Disrespect their opponent. This aspect of Coach Lanning's toolbox need work.

Our DB's…SUCK!! no way to sugar coat it! They shouldn't feel bad though…they continue a LOOOOOONNGGGG legacy of HORRIBLE defensive secondary play at Oregon!! Either too small….too slow….too incompetent….or a combination of all of those components!! Until we figure out a way to get quality players in our defensive backfield ( either out of high school or through the portal )….we will CONTINUE to be MEDIOCRE!! Getting used to it folks!! I've been living with this pain for 40 plus years!!
I do agree with Aaron though, in that, Dan and the Ducks gotta beat Deon. 😅 To me that did become the most must win, at least in my humble opinion in the season outside the rival gms of course. Some of the others they might be able to drop and get around it. Must win vs Colorado, just my thoughts. At least not unless you want Deon to go absolute ham in the media after 🫣😂.
The PAC 12 is the best conference right now and it isn't even close. As far as depth….Sure, they don't have a team at the very top and probably won't have a playoff spot at the end of the season since they're likely to themselves. We'll see though … Go Ducks 🦆 not 9-3 if Bo stays healthy. They'll still make the conference championship game. That's my prediction. But it will be close.

Road game, tough place to play, tough team to play that was desperate with 5th yr QB too, to many mistakes, opportunistic play. A win is a win.

I learned my lesson last week underestimating opponents . Every team is a threat no matter what the spread is.
