Taliban break up rare protest by Afghan women in Kabul – BBC News

Taliban fighters have dispersed dozens of female protesters in Kabul, almost a year after the militant group seized power.

About 40 women marched through the Afghan capital demanding rights, before the Taliban broke it up by firing into the air.

The fighters seized their mobile phones, stopping one of the first women’s protests in months.

  1. I don't know what talibans are thinking-

But women are allowed to get education in Islam and are allowed to do business of course in proper dress code and dignity.
But I also heard a meeting between a journalist and taliban that they don't have the fund to educate them.

  4. These women should've just married a rich man, have children, play with the children, cook and clean the house for the family, instead of become an old widow, jobless, useless doing protest like this. You women create bad name for us Afghans. This is the result of western mind that were imposed to us for the last 20 years, making useless people like these don't have life, create issue. Hey women, do you think by protesting Taliban make you feel brave like a reformer for us? No, you just show the lowest value in your life. Most of Afghan especially from villages including me support Taliban and we see these kinds of useless people as cringe, useless barker and joker for our life. Go somewhere else. Shame that some Pashtun women are even in here, that women are no more Pashtuns for me. If Tajik or Hazara do this, I can understand, because their brains are only half
