  1. Awesome! I do still have mine but it's not in as good condition as this one and I don't recall seeing that color battle map either, I have to take a look later – that looks awesome! Now, we need to figure out how to get one of those Dragon Highlord Helmets!! Haha

  2. This box set of note is significant like 'New Tales' because it lists Tasslehoffs character card as 'Kalin' Tasslehoff Burrfoot. According to Margaret Weis after showing her new tales and this boxed set informed us that this material was published in 1992 Weis and Hickman had left TSR by then; she also said Harold Johnson probably didn't do it either and was most likely added by TSR. It was 'NOT part of the established Canon as far as they were concerned'- alas this is the Dragonlance set I purchased in 1994 as a kid along with the 2nd Edition Players Handbook.

  3. I could just imagine someone trying to have that conversation with their wife:

"How much did you spend on this crap!?"

"Honey I know you're mad but let me ease your concerns but first talking about the huge nostalgia value…"

p.s. Is a digital copy of that version of the map of Krynn available online anywhere?

  4. Bought it new in the 90s, sold it in the 2000's, repurchased it last year! Paid more than I sold it for I reckon. I've used the source book a lot and it a great companion to the 5E campaign.
