The long anticipated Elder Kings II, an Elder Scrolls conversion for Crusader Kings III, is here (well, has been for a while, I’m late to the party) and I thought what better way to celebrate the mod returning than my own return to CK3, and recreating the very scenario that started this very channel.

  1. Zombie Goblin Zombie Goblin Zombie Goblin (I'm guessing a future series might be Shittle so I'm just kidding, mostly. Make it a duke or something for a laugh during one of El-Rangs nights of revelry. He's proven he adheres to those promises :^) )

Loyalty isn't necessarily only what we view it as today in regard to relationships. Plenty of extremely loyal and honorable men took multiple wives, as well as concubines, men so loyal they would kill themselves per request, like high ranked Samurai, for example. If El-rang took concubines or other wives, I think it should be house ruled that it can only be for ambitious reasons, and securing a marriage alliance with the Daedra could be considered ambitious, especially with a budding Coven of Hermaeus Mora blooming in the garden.

Ambitious has a bigger icon than Loyal and El-Rang has proven that his ambition trumps his loyalty to pretty much anyone time and again. He was never going to stay as a vassal. He's loyal to himself. The same can be said of his loyalty to his wife. She was the future of his dynasty. It's still him being loyal to himself. Would he have cared if she gave him no children? Loyalty is something that El-Rang views as important, probably because he has to set an example for his subjects mostly, but it isn't CORE to his character and his beliefs. Ambition and the thirst for knowledge trump all. Do you, Sam, know what can happen if you marry a Daedra? Neither does El-Rang. I can already hear him opening his spell for me even suggesting he doesn't know everything.

  2. Generally de jure wars vassalize the target if possible. So for like a single county, just use the conquest one. You'll get duchy conquest too soon, but I think that one can also lead to vassalization. I always expand that triangle thing because it says "You will get the target title" but then you expand it and actually you vassalize them you're not getting any titles.

  3. Reforging and repairing an artifact do different things. Repair simply restores the artifacts durability. Reforge converts it to a pedestal item.

If you want to take a book or a sword or some personal artifact and convert it to backroom, first reforge it, which will make it a court artifact, then use the decision to convert it to a backroom artifact.

  4. You might not be able to use Daedric as your court language, but if you reform your faith you can make it your Liturgical Language. The language spoken by priests. So you could make it an official special language that isn't for the uneducated masses, just for the truly noble ones like El-Rang. like Latin essentially was.

  5. The Exociticise a Grand Hall decision changes your throne room to the style of a foreign throne room. You already did that a couple of episodes ago, it changed nothing, therefore, probably doesn't have any effect on the White-Gold Tower. When you're looking at the rankings, click on one to see someone else's throne room.

  6. I don't feel like he's really loyal to his current zombie wife. He's loyal to his first wife, everyone after her is just experiments. What if I had undead wife? What if dremora wife?
