  1. Portugal changing into Brazil is Event flee to brazil and when portugal has less than 5 provinces in europe they get event to switch to brazil and they get their mission and tech i think

  2. Glad I’m not the only one who gets bored of these large games.
Question though: you said that you should be building stacks to exact combat width and keep reinforcement stacks close by, but won’t your cannons take damage from opposing cannons while there’s a gap in infantry? Keep up the great SP content!

  3. I love this series. The best EU4 games aren't always the ones were you take a difficult country and push it to its limits. Sometimes it's fun to pick a powerful country and take it easy.

  4. Hey, this game is hilariously irritating sometimes. So, I'm playing Hanover, changed to Protestant. Been gradually taking most of the HRE while allied to Austria, waiting for a time when I can eventually dismantle the HRE. Then, I suddenly notice Austria has broken the alliance with me so I immediately start a war with another nation to get Austria in. There already weren't many members left and only me as elector. Then I realise, Austria is no longer the Emperor, its CYPRUS. So, I start doing tons of wars and building spy networks to try to get to Cyprus. First, I war Papal & take land, then Venice to take Crete. Then I build a spy network on the Knights cos they are allied to Cyprus. Just as I'm getting the war against the Emperor, it goes immediately to my Ally – Lithuania instead. I break the alliance with Lithuania & ally Russia instead. While waiting for the truce, I realise Russia is at war with Lithuania now. Before they call me in, I decide to war Lithuania early and try to take enough war score to dismantle HRE etc. Then I realise the war against Lithuania is the Protestant league war. I hadn't noticed it had started and forgot to join it. Russia peace's out Lithuania. But I realise after, now I'm the Emperor of the Protestant HRE. Now I can't even dismantle it! There are 9 princes, 1 elector – me. -0.84 authority. Do I just keep conquering everyone in the HRE?

  5. i think you made a mistake at the end there releasing Syria and feeding all that land. In my experience, vassals tend to offer Mil. access through their lands, making your explanation for the bordergore a bit silly.

  6. if you go republic route in english civil war at some point you can take protectorate government which is practically something like military dictatorship with parliment and one of the only republic gov types that give positive absolutism and your ruler gets called lord protector :p i wished if you taken that path it is a really good reform it slightly tanks your republic tradition though but you are not re electing anyone

  7. Portugal moving to Brazil was a power move. They knew they had no chance against you, so they did the one thing that could delay your conquest. Plus it made them into a serious GP when it instantly assimilated the New World for them

  8. Oh snap, This dude is a monster. I really like how Portugal has that exodus available to them when their European provinces are almost all taken from them. I really like this game. I wish I was capable enough to experience all of it. I’ll never get to play Byz or many other interesting tags.

  9. 12:50, I can confirm as per my unfinished GB campaign in 1.33 that you can dissolve the HRE and fulfil the mission.

I’m tempted to abandon the campaign and redo it on 1.34 for the new improved courthouses so no gov cap issues, have the nobility estate and the new Anglican buffs though.

  10. Didn't you play on very hard some time in the past? Asking cause watching your SP vids baited me a couple of times to thinking that I must really suck cause your wars are way easier. And I realised it's just the hard difficulty. I still think you're better, just the gap seemed strangely big.
