NINE YEARS after it was announced Dead Island 2 is finally here, a brand new zombie slaying sequel to the surprise hit from 2011 for Xbox 360 and PS3, but was it worth the wait? Today we’ll be capturing some Dead Island 2 PC gameplay live (Dead Island 2 4090 gameplay to be specific) and I’ll be sharing my first impressions, I’ve got the game maxed out graphically as well and I’m keen to see what Dead Island 2 RTX 4090 gameplay looks like (especially all the gory details in the new zombie damage system). As a big fan of the original game, despite all it’s jank and strange inconsistencies in tone, I’m excited to see how Dead Island 2 builds on what made the original so successful, I’m just hoping for a fun new zombie smashing adventure filled with silly weapons and sun drenched (and blood drenched) locations. If the game can deliver on that then it’ll be another strong entry into a year packed with fantastic new horror games (honestly 2023 has consistently supplied the best new horror games for the last few years and looks set to keep going with Alan Wake 2, Silent Hill 2, Outlast Trials, Amnesia the Bunker and many more still on the way…). But is it better than dying light 1 😊 which was pretty much the dead island 2 for me at the time. That game holds up really well to this day.

Beardo, sorry I missed a Live Stream because of my job. Love your videos, as always. I, too, worked as a manager at a game store (gamestop) when Dead Island launched. It had a decent turnout that year, but paled in comparison to our Arkham City launch and Skyrim launch Lol
Had a blast checking out the stream for the first time, even if i did accidentally broadcast my legal name to the internet 🤷♂️
