Tacoma man looking for suspects involved in stealing his truck, and trailer twice in a 3-day span

A Tacoma man has had his truck and trailer stolen out of his driveway twice in a three-day period, starting Oct. 12. He needed both to run his small business.

“Anger, sheer anger, just wanted to find the person and beat the crap out of them,” owner Edward Rubio said about the robbery. “I looked outside my window, and I didn’t see my black trailer, so I immediately just thought someone just stole the trailer. But when I ran out here, I noticed the trailer and the truck were gone,”

His friend posted on Facebook about his stolen goods. Two days later, someone contacted him saying his trailer had been dumped outside his house in a neighborhood about three miles away.

On Sunday, Rubio went to collect the trailer. He left to get equipment to connect it to his van and just 90 minutes later, the trailer was stolen again.
