Loved my play through of this game, I hope you will too. It's a cross of Ogre Battle and Fire Emblem.
Shining Force Sega mega-drive looks very similar to this game graphically on the battlefield.
Suikoden on the ps1 had the armies shown as models as well asnumbers during combat. both good game series
