Sydney train strike, Rail, Tram & Bus Union secretary Alex Claassens speaks at a media conference



The NSW rail union boss has guaranteed that his members will operate Sydney trains to their normal schedule for 10 days from tomorrow.

Rail union members have been creating chaos across the Sydney rail network everyday for most of August, including the mega strike today where only 30% of train services were operated.

“There will still be a series of industrial actions that we’ve had one all the time – things like wearing badges, wearing t-shirts, etc” – Rail, Tram & Bus Union NSW Secretary Alex Claassens.
