Too bad there can't be a female snake hormone detector – and one could then (other than a rat terrier, daschund, etc) be able to find them and reduce the female population – and stop the entire breeding cycle.
– Otherwise, there should be a massive network of snakers – wherein they walk and entire area of land abreast – and pull out anything that is there. This is the only way to remove all of the invasives. Walk an entire region of up to 5 x 5 miles (640 acres = 1 square mile … x 25 = 16,000 acres). Florida has only 65,758 square miles of area, with total land area – 53,625 square miles. This is easily accomplished in finding all these invasives and removing them from the landscape.
