I don't doubt this mans personal integrity but it's alarming to hear a law enforcement officer credit 'praying' with solving a murder case. There is no possible evidence corroborating such a statement?
To those of you who are 'believers' this may seem like a petty gripe, but this is symptomatic of the alternative reality many Americans hide behind. Anything which is not an observed fact supported by other observed facts, is not a truth. Face reality people.
