  1. If Kaleb would have stayed katurah would still be on the bottom. she's blurring the perception Bruce threw out about her working with kaleb, which in turn makes her less of a target and Bruce more of a target. She did well.

  2. Katurah made the right decision. Why gamble going to rocks when you don't know that Jake's assessment of Austin will pan out and you could be the one going home for people who actively lied to you and only admitted it when they're trying to get you to take a major risk for them? She needed to get through this tribal to have any options for moving forward. At least she now can potentially play the middle. Risking rocks to save Kaleb would have been dumb.

  3. I hated to see Kaleb go but it was only a matter of time since he had such a huge target on his back. Katurah does have a better chance with the possible women's alliance than with old Belo. I feel like she can pull in Kendra to vote with her, Dee, Julie, and possibly Emily to get Bruce out.

  4. If the rest of the players don't recognize that they have to break up the Reba 4 (Dee, Julie, Drew, Austin) then none of them deserve to win, frankly. They are like one or two tribals away from being able to coast to the end. How is Jake the only one who noticed this so far? I don't buy a full "woman's alliance" because Dee already said she would vote everyone else out before voting for any of her alliance.

  5. Katurah did nothing wrong. She got told last minute about Bruce’s idol. Everyone who wanted to work with her only needed her when it was convenient for them. I’d also not work with them if I were her

  6. Bruce cheering on Katurah is to put a target on her back. Something everyone would find odd and would think they are tighter than they let on. It gives Kaleb and Jake the opportunity to throw her under the bus. But it didn't pan out that way.

  7. I don’t know if anyone else felt this, but I didn’t love Dee’s edit this episode. She kind of felt a little bossy not wanting to listen to anyone else who was saying they didn’t want to vote off Kaleb. I think at one time she said something about how she was the person in power and every one else just needed to shut up and listen to her.

  8. Team Katurah! She proved how smart she is (again after doing it by lying about her profession successfully) when she noticed she was on the outs in Reba, because they kept Bruce's idol a secret for her and she took her revenge. I was so glad Bruce wasn't out this week, just to see her write his name next episode, it'll be iconic for sure.

  9. Something I haven’t seen discussed in the multiple podcasts about last nights episode is how absolutely horrible the sound bite editing of Emily’s first confessional was. Maybe it stood out for me because I was listening to it on a headphone, but Emily says something about “ I feel really bad for” and then “lying to” is clearly from a different sound bite and then “Kaleb” sounds like a third one.

Wesley I’d really love to hear your opinion on why the editor found this important, especially since she had nothing to do with him being voted out tonight. Is it to try to show her to be a good strategist? Maybe building her back up for villainy? There is absolutely clearly a reason for the editors to change it and I need to know what it’s foreshadowing.

  10. I wasn’t a fan of the flash forward for several reasons.

First, it felt similar to the way a heist film works, where you show the plan in an ideal form before showing it go wrong. Thus, it told the audience that their plan wasn’t going to work out, robbing the episode of tension.

Second, they only showed two of the three Julie votes, so you knew there wasn’t going to be a third. You knew Katurah wasn’t going to go along with it.

Third, that editing technique works best because it sets up an exciting scenario and the provides an even more exciting scenario, but that’s not what happened here. What we got was a standard vote, so they teased something exciting and delivered something normal, which I found disappointing.

I’m not opposed to the editing technique, but it needs to be used to show something crazy and then deliver something crazier.

  11. How bs do you think it is that editing shows you drew forgot his bag when it didnt actually change anything but didn't show that sifu forgot his bag when it literally stopped him from playing his shot in the dark or using his fake idol. Do you think they screwed him in the edit just b/c they didnt want it to look exactly like last season when the fake idol and sitd were forgotten?

  12. My question/wonder which will probs be answer next week is I wonder if Dee and Julie are going to do a girls alliance with the rest of the women and tell Austin and Drew that they’re either doing a fake girls alliance to break Belo or not tell them and just make Bruce and Jake the targets and do a split vote to flush the idol? Then you can take out whoever’s left between the 2 Belo men the following episode and Dee and Julie have the perfect Kim Spradlin One World scenario…they can either stick with the women or work with Austin and Drew… or do a little bit of both. Maybe vote split at 8 between Kellie and Kendra and get Austin another idol? If they play their cards well I see potentially Dee/Julie going far in the game
