Sully is a 2016 biographical drama film directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Tom Hanks as Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger. The movie tells the story of the “Miracle on the Hudson,” in which Sullenberger and his co-pilot Jeff Skiles safely landed a disabled US Airways Flight 1549 on the Hudson River, saving the lives of all 155 passengers and crew members on board. The film also features Aaron Eckhart as Jeff Skiles and Laura Linney as Sullenberger’s wife, Lorraine.
