  1. I love that the game is still being supported and it's already up to v157 with some fixes. My impressions so far that you didn't mention:

    1) You can't assign an item to a building/storage unless you have it in your possession first. Not a big deal but something to keep in mind.

    2) Dev really tweaked mining so now mine's only reliably produce ONE material. It's a major change but I think it's for the best as it forces you to go out and find other deposits (which are usually guarded by another camp/base) so make nice or conquer them for the resources. Before it was just too easy to make a big mine, assign 4 people and mine for all 4 things from that one mine.

    3) I love that we can now KNOCK on doors to stranger communities to get their attention.

    4) Looters will send extortion squads to you but if you don't want any trouble, just ignore them and keep your doors always closed. As long as you don't engage with them, they'll never become a threat (though they will stay outside your base for a long time — they do make for useful fodder guard dogs for any passing zombies or raiders).

    5) I'm not sure if this is a new thing but you cannot reclaim a neutral building until you have recruited someone first. I saw this question pop up on the Steam forum and I also ran into this one myself during testing.

    6) We can't demolish every building anymore for scrap. So far, I haven't been able to take apart trailer homes but gas stations and mini marts are still fair game. In the early phases, they're a great source of easy materials and area denial

    7) The new outdoor raider lawn ornaments cannot be demolished for now. I hope this gets fixed in the near future.

    8) Rags were removed from the campfire recipe, so I just went back into Editor mode and put it back in.

    9) You didn't mention the new CONSTITUTION stat we have to worry about now. The cool thing about this is that this forces us to care about food and cooking quality. It's almost like Zomboid, except without the overweight factor (for now). Junk food really is junk and now we cannot eat whenever we feel like it. You must be "hungry" enough for that food item to be consumed. We can still drink at any time. This stat is also why downing a target doesn't always mean they are dead.

    10) You can now be rescued by neutral communities if you're out in the wild and collapse from the cold. I didn't think we needed this and I tested it out already and it works. I'm not sure if you need to have met another community first for the rescue to trigger. When I tested this, I had made contact with the closest base which rescued me when I went AFK.

Those were some of the bigger things I noticed with this update. It's a cool update and currently testing it out. Already did a raider base takeover and town takeover (where I found out all the changes not listed in the patch notes), so now doing a base from scratch

  2. Loved the video 🔥💯, I am wondering if you ever considered making a video compiling all your advance tips and tricks for the game? That would be incredibly interesting content!
