Super cool stuff. There might be the remains of a naturally formed nuclear reactor that is self-sustaining underneath the property. They actually found something like this in the Oklo uranium mine in Gabon, Africa. Also, Utah actually has a uranium mining facility in Moab where the soil is still contaminated with radioactive materials. This probably explains why the aliens are so attracted this and other nuclear reactive sites.
