  1. I bet they'd be accommodating to Muslims. Seems like this country has turned against Christians and think that the Christian faith doesn't matter. Frankly it shouldn't matter what a person's religion is; people should never be forced to do something that they don't believe in. Like forcing people to get a vaccine. Let's say you're just a person that never wants to put a foreign substance in your body, that's your belief and that's your choice and it's not a religion. Why do people have to have a religion to not be forced to do something? It's their belief! You can't ever expect nor demand that somebody must do something for you! Why is this so hard for people to understand?

  3. Scheduled weekly shifts works in the workplace for every business when it’s created to accommodate the needs of the business and employees.
The USPS should be able to accommodate this situation.

Some workers are going to be happy as possible if they get this guys Sunday 8hrs. It’s probably OT, or perhaps an OT rate because of the day.
Jewish people honor their Shabbat (sunset Friday till sunset Saturday)
So they wouldn’t have an objection to his Sunday while he doesn’t have the Saturday issue.
Islamic has some day they can be respectful of their religion, Muslims etc.

Most of the time the only people that are hardcore are the ones who are adamant. Most however don’t care one way or the other, and they can be scheduled to be on the job for their weekly shifts.

USPS is a union organization so they can (I assume it would be, it’s at least a state agency like the DOT) have annual regulations regarding the number of times they can take off. With not having any concerns about the loss of their workers rights.
The ones who abuse this system are weeded out because they don’t understand the bigger picture and will get a Walmart job, providing Walmart hasn’t been fed up with the poor quality of their neighboring communities who see fit to ruin everything, making the retailer to chain up and let the animals go without.

  4. If they are forcing him to work overtime then I believe they should not be allowed to do that. The Christian thing is no excuse though. He can pray anytime and anywhere. He does not need to be in Church to pray or worship. As for working, that is an old testament law and became irrelevant with the advent of Jesus.

  5. Even prior to Roe being overturned, Pharmacists would deny medications because of their religion or they didn't like the way you look. They can deny for any reason and they do! Women in rural areas couldn't get the abortion pill, even in situations where the fetus was non-viable.

  6. Where in the Bible does it say the day of worship is Sunday? It just says the seventh day. Seventh Day Adventists say it’s Saturday. The Gregorian Calendar says Sunday is the first day of the week. The Bible is flawed; and this guy has no legal grounds to sue.

  8. Sundays have always been the Lords day. Only thing new is the secular society. When I was a kid all stores were closed on Sunday. You bought what you needed the day before. It wasn’t hard to do. People who went to church were able to FREELY. People who wanted to be with family were able to do it. It’s nothing knew for a Christian to not work Sundays.

  9. Because during covid anti-religious secularist ran amuck using covid as an excuse to trample religious freedoms under the laws not just here but Canada,Australia, the EU countries and the UK and are still doing it.

  10. If you can’t do the job go work somewhere else. Other people shouldn’t have to pick up your slack when you knew what you were signing up for. Schedules change if you don’t like it then leave.

  11. More BS, this is covered under the First Amendment, a better case would be going after corporate media who deliberately lie, misinterpret and leave out pertinent information on a regular basis.

  12. Beyond the legality, I think the worker did make a reasonable request and offer. I would personally guarantee him Sunday off if he's willing to work extra the rest of the time

  13. The republican stooge Louis DeJoy is the man this Christian needs to talk to. He is the one that made the deal with Amazon.
For the record, I am an atheist and I support this man. He made a deal when he applied for the job and they changed the deal on him. Someone at his work is being a hardnose because every other job has people that can work Sundays for those that can't, so why not the USPS. It's not like there are only 3 employees. And it's not like EVERY employee has to work on Sundays. Some supervisor trying to "make his/her career" by abusing those below.

  14. What about the people who observe Saturday as the Sabbath ??? Many people are forced to work on Saturdays too. Should they go to court too ??

  15. Sunday is not Sabbath. Saturday is the Sabbath. Exodus 20:8 Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. Since Creation, the 7th day is the Lords day whom God rested and keep holy. According to prophecy Papacy will enforce Sunday Law for people to observe which is the wrong Sabbath and whoever doesnt comply will be persecuted or killed ( this is the true Mark of the Beast- Sunday Law)

  16. Next agenda: creeping toward the FALSE Sabbath Sunday- FORCED SUNDAY LAW-worship/rest that whoever doesn’t comply cant buy or sell, persecuted or killed as prophesied. Saturday the 7th day of the week is the True sabbath. USA (2nd beast with lamblike appearance in Revelation) will form an image/mirror to the 1st beast (Papacy) and will implement the true Mark of the beast which is the FORCED SUNDAY LAW. The last test of the earth history will be about worship.

  17. JESUS says keep Sabbath holy.
    POPE says keep Sunday holy!

“The Bible says remember that thou keep the Sabbath day. The Catholic Church says, 'NO!'. By my divine power, I abolish the Sabbath day and command you to keep holy the first day of the week. And, lo, the entire civilized world bows down in reverent obedience to the command of the holy Catholic Church."

    American Sentinal, June 1893.

    7th day Sabbath = (Exo.20:8-11)
    1st day Sunday = (Mark 7:7)

The WORD teaches 7th day is holy!
The WORLD teaches 1st day is holy!

  18. That's really tricky. So does it mean If I got to church on sundays and we have regular scheduled work on sundays, I can be exempt? I don't think companies allow that.

  19. Bro….workers that dont want to get vaccinated shouldnt have to get vaccinated,…thats clearly a covid nod.
And as we now know those vaccinations did nothing to protect people…..thats ridiculous.
As far as i know that already is the law, as when this whole vaxx B.S. started that was brought up.
And the mandated vaccine was already shut down as unconstitutional.
And as far as i know it wouldnt be very difficult to get a different pharmacy tech to fill a birth control script, as there are always two to three people in a pharmacy.
Just like it wouldnt be difficult for the post office to get non sabbath day observers to work on sunday,….they already have plain clothes contractors that they sub out to on sundays,….ive seen them all over the place.
This reporting is so slanted it makes me nauseaous,…but hey, look at the guy doing the reporting.

  20. Now that SCOTUS stacked with elitist Christian fascists it's critical (since the US is now oligarchy/plutocracy with 10% of our population ultra wealthy and the rest of us poor under neofuedalism) to get the 90% on board with religion because of what Napoleon said about religion "Religion is what keeps poor people from ki!!ing rich people" This is the same court That created our plutocracy They need protection Clarence is gonna have a really hard time with all that money and wealth hanging around in the Walmart parking lot they're not going to be able to hire enough security
