Americans nowadays know only to be racist, and as soon as a favorable app being banned in their country, they instantly cry and regret their decisions.
It isn't alright to say that the owner of tiktok is Chinese when he said that he was from Singapore. Stupidity nowadays grows more and more than the hope of humanity.

To have 1 single lawyer deal and answer all these questions is idiotic. These questions bring up ideas that need years of research to answer, and to leave that to one person is just lazy and biased.
To all those who are complaining that they will lose cash if Tictoc is banned? How about Youtube? Youtube is a better way to make money. Plus, Tictoc isn't accessible to blind people like me. Tic toc isn't about inclusiveness. Think about that before you complain.
The TikTok downfall is here. But yes I agree with everyone in the comments there is more important priorities to worry about for domestic policy. I was hesitant towards the ban because of first amendment rights but I guess I will accept it as it is. I never downloaded it so it doesn’t matter to me
Listening to this and I’m really thinking by just the way the voices sound they are siding with tik tok and the American people the US congress has no solid proof or any other argument on why it should be banned besides it’s Chinese
Everyone who is negatively effected by this ban should boycott Meta and other social media companies that most likely orchestrated this event in the first place.
I don't have any vested interest in it, but I do find it funny that the only people who really benefit from the ban are other social media giants who have sold and continue to sell Americans' private data to both domestic and foreign entities.
They want to ban tiktok because they are money greedy. They want all the money which is why they are giving them to choice to sell it or ban it, they are so desperate to ban it with their shitty reasoning. This is horrible as it sets the precedent that other apps can be banned, which can infringe on free speech. As with TikTokthere hasn't been any valid proof to be provided by the government that the app poses a national security concern. These accusations Congress throws out about security risks may as well be lies without solid evidence that they have outright refused to provide. This means other apps could get banned with possible false information and accusations being thrown just to get it banned, limiting free speech under the argument that it's "for the safety of the American people" which is ridiculous.

What's so interesting is – that to get a blue check on Twitter – or whenever META (FB & INSTA) they might – will ask – for an ID & other actual personal data. Tiktok NEVER has. So, they are truly, really, barking up the wrong freaking tree. I'm 61, former IT Director- this SCOTUS has no idea what they're talking about. Neither do many of the commenters.
So we all have just downloaded Red Door, a completely China-owned app, on the Google Play and Apple stores, and willingly are giving China our data .Hmmmm
If they care this much about TT they better have every single other social media app on the chopping block. Fb/insta/twitter/reddit all collect and sell our data to give us ads. They get hacked and steal our info/our cc info etc. But thats okay as longvas its american based?
Oh the irony of claiming covert and data collection risks when the president, the president elect and 90% of members of congress are on TikTok. The moment a government is allowed to anchor laws on thought crimes ( crimes that might occur in the future), is the moment we enter into the 'minority report territory'. There's no case here other than they lost control of information. The tipping point came with the genocide in gaza. All the regular media sanitized the coverage while TikTok user generated content showed the world what was really going on. That's why they are banning Tiktok.
