  1. That home menu buffering reminds me of a similar thing in majora’s mask. You can pause repeatedly, and the game world won’t advance, but the clock will for a single frame. So if you want, you can pause over and over and run the clock down as much as you want, before letting the game do any clock related events.

  2. EDIT : IT GETS BETTER !!! thanks for the comments.
sound is pretty badly mixed, it's hard to hear the commentary over the game music. i'd advise a reupload, it's difficult to watch in that state

  3. Apologies for any audio issues, the game audio started off a bit loud on the restream but gets fixed a few minutes into the premiere. YouTube also seems to be bugging out for some reason! 😅

  4. you know what I think would be funny to see? An encode of this exact same run, but the display has counters for every single input. So the times when y'all are spamming 1 to burn through text, it just shoots up like 30 times a second. Same with direction+down for y'all's funny stutter walking

  5. At the end, you mentioned how it would be a good watch being able to skip around. It’s a good watch raw as well. I sat through this whole thing lol. No fast forwards at all. It was worth it, this was super cool!

  6. with "2 Presses" in quotes in the title I thought this was a TAS that limited all button presses to just 2 buttons pressed and I thought "there's no way speedrunners did that"

  7. 3:09:22 Funnily enough, this is one of only a couple Megabites I actually DID know about (the other being in 1-3), because younger me used to always mess around in this room. I think I was fascinated by all of the hidden ? Blocks in 3D
