PS. The way the swamp unlocked was indeed a bug – It is only supposed to trigger once you fill in the stream on the right side of the starting zone.
There also seems to be a visual bug with the rain not stopping. It's only supposed to last 1 day/night cycle at a time, which explains why some of the daisies weren't getting watered later on. Working on fixes now 🙂
