this game is great, for what was assumed to be just a spin off it feels more like a true sequel, not quite as long as the main game but still feels like an advancement in story

– If the Eng voice acting sounds a little bit off, it's because it was recorded at their home during the lockdown
– You can combine normal attack & special attack to create new moves, sometimes they could trigger elemental attacks without costing SP, add support, or even heal

Omega Force (aka the Dynasty Warriors developer) worked on this game. They have been doing a lot of other franchises in Musou form: Hyrule Warriors, Dragon Quest, Fire Emblem, One PIece. They have been putting a lot more passion into these spinoffs compared to the regular Dynasty Warirors franchise these days.
The thing about these Persona spinoffs is that most of them are actually cannonical sequels to the game they spin-off from, I know that's at least the case with P4 Arena and Arena Ultimax, P4 Dancing All Night, and P5 Strikers; I think the P3 and P5 dancing and PQ games are a bit more nebulous though
