Everyone in Sukuna’s life has been absolutely terrified of him meaning he really has never had a true friend, however the one exception to this rule is a character we’ve only seen briefly in the anime so far, whose name is Uraume. Uraume is a character who has known Sukuna for thousands of years dating all the way back to the golden age of sorcery, and it’s implied that they might have even known eachother when Sukuna was alive. This entire time Uraume has served Sukuna faithfully and without any second guessing, to the point where he’s become a little insane if feels like anyone is disrespecting Sukuna or just not behaving the way that he wants them to in his presence. Now of course Uraume is a powerful sorcerer since you’d need to be powerful to even stand in Sukuna’s presence, and his Curse Technique allows him to create and control massive amounts of ice that can freeze a human or even a curse solid. This comes in handy because Uraume is an amazing cook which is part of the reason Sukuna even keeps him around, and because of his ice ability he’s able to freeze humans and curses alive to keep them fresh until he can properly prepare them into Sukuna’s meals. Be ready to see a little more of him soon in the anime, while us manga readers get to watch his first big fight unfold against Hakari.
