On the cover of Jujutsu Kaisen’s databook we have Yuji and Sukuna, so of course this book has to have a lot of details about the kind of curses, like did you know that he isn’t called that just because he’s the most powerful curse to ever exist? According to Gege Akutami, Sukuna has ALWAYS been called the King of Curses even before he became one himself, and as to the reason why, we can only gleam that this might have been because of how absolutely DOMINANT he was when he was alive, because the databook tells us that even when he was human everyone was terrified of him, and saw him as less of a curse user and more of a natural disaster. This is the reason why in life Sukuna never had a wife or any children of his own according to Gege, because people saw him more as something to be feared or worshiped than an actual person, which really squashes a lot of theories about Yuji being part of Sukuna’s bloodline somehow. Lastly apparently Sukuna’s biggest hobby in life and beyond has always been eating, and this makes sense considering how much food and cooking has to do with his Curse techniques, but eventually he went from eating normal food to EATING curse spirits, and that might honestly have something to do with how he went from a human being, to the strongest curse that ever lived.

Actually it doesnt squash the theory of them being related in chapter 237 sukuna says he was a unwanted child mostly in jujutsu twins were seen as unlucky (maki and mai) which doesnt rule yuji being his descendent albeit distant and would explain his unnatural hatred for him i mean his hobby is legit making him suffer.
