Sukokomon Team Builds

This team is definitely one of my new favourites. I recently (kinda) built Fischl and decided to give it a try and was incredibly surprised. It’s very hard to pull off all guoba swirls, but if you do, the AoE dps is insane. I could clear the 2 waves of whopper flowers in one rotation, the first with only the skills and the second with the ultis, which allowed me to clear it incredibly fast and on par with my other top-tier AoE teams like Childe National

My thoughts on the builds of the characters, I ran the build optimizer on these units for other teams, so they could be optimized further for this specific team, but I didn’t want to go through the trouble.

Fischl: Pretty straight forward with the usual DPS build of ATK%, DMG% and Crit. It gave me 2pc Glad and 3pc rainbow probably because Fischl ascension stat is already ATK%, so it focused on the Crit substats instead.
Leveling the Skill talent is best.

Kokomi: Definitely the least invested unit that I use regularly, which makes this team even more impressive. I wanted to spend the least amount of time on the Tenacity domain, which is why she’s so underinvested. I farmed untill I had a ER%, DMG%, HB% set. Tenacity to give wide party ATK% buff, since she pretty much has 100% Skill uptime on this team. The 2pc bonus is also useful for her. Since she’s on field and dealing damage I went with DMG% on the Goblet. ER Sands are probably needed for most of her teams, so I went with it. Aim for HP% and ER for the subs. (I think you should use Clam, but I’m not sure on the calcs. I just thought the team-wide ATK buff of tenacity would be more useful for both Sukokomon (Fischl and Xiangling) and the freeze teams I run (Ayaka and Ganyu). I only leveled her Skill because I only planned to run her as a Jellyfish bot on freeze teams, but now I’m planning to level all her talents equally since I’m having so much fun with this team. Her weapon should be Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers because you can use the ATK buff it gives to Xiangling, especially on this team where she doesn’t have Bennett and is required to run ER sands, so she’s really lacking ATK.

Xiangling: Because she’s so energy hungry I have to run her with ER sands and an ER weapon. I would use the Catch on her, but in this case I was running the Catch on Raiden, and Fav on XL also helps her charge this team, so I went with that. 4pc Emblem is pretty much mandatory on her, especially with these ER levels. (She’s also my 2nd most well built character that I play after Raiden)

Sucrose: Pretty much the standard Triple EM 4VV set. Her swirl damage is insane, especially when you Guoba Swirl. Recommended to level her up to 90 since she triggers so many transformative reactions. No need to level her talents. Sac Frags to Triple Guoba Swirl and help her battery herself.

In my opinion, investment in terms of talent levels and artifact quality should be prioritized to Xiangling, Fischl, Sucrose and Kokomi, but you can start with Sucrose just to give her a 4pc VV with triple EM for the incredibly good set bonus and Kokomi for either the 4pc Tenacity bonus or 4pc Clam effect.

My thoughts on the gameplay and rotation:
My rotation isn’t the one recommended by the theorycrafters, so it probably can get even stronger, but honestly, I really prefer this one I thought up since it’s slightly easier to remember and the DPS seems more even throughout the whole rotation. It is as follows:

First part, only the Skills:
Fischl S, Kokomi S, Xiangling S, Sucrose double or triple S (depends if you have SacFrags), and try to Guoba Swirl (timing your Sucrose S with the exclamation mark on Guoba). You’re giving TTDS buff to Xiangling.

Then, the second part is your Bursts:
Sucrose B, Xiangling B, Fischl B and Kokomi B. This part is easy and straight forward. Xiangling should still have the TTDS buff from the first half of the rotation for you to snapshot her ulti with. There is an optimal sequence to get the most Hydro aplication on Kokomi but honestly I find it troublesome to do because of the stamina management, and in the majority of the cases, at least in this rotation, Sucrose B usually turns Hydro, so it helps supply the Hydro to maintain the aura for Xiangling to Vape. Stay on Kokomi until you see Oz disapear from the field (usually lines up with your burst also ending). Then is just repeating from the top.

My thoughts on the team:
It’s incredible how well this team runs with seemingly low investment. Even with units with 4* artifacts (Kokomi HB% hat and Sucrose EM Goblet) and low talent levels (Kokomi’s 2/6/2 and Sucrose 1/7/9 (with C5), is competing with even the most well known and revered teams like the Childe National. It is mechanicaly hard to play, at least on the first part of the rotation, but once you get the timing down it feels incredibly rewarding. Also gives Kokomi, a once undervalued character with an increadibly beautiful design, protagonism, as it’s one of the few comps that makes use of her full kit.
