Esraa thinks that culture is an ever developing and emergent living tradition. She believes that long standing cultural traditions can and should be built upon, adapted and innovated creatively within each unique family situation to meet the changing needs of complex current circumstances to build resilience and positive futures.

A holder of Masters degree in Public Health from University of Virginia, Head of Community Outreach at New York University Abu Dhabi, founder of Moms Guide Abu Dhabi. She developed and deployed an educational program for young schoolgirls in Sudan on Female Genital Mutulation (FGM). Engaged in a public health initiative to provide health care, resources and financial support for Sudanese tea workers and their children.
