Hey Librarian great amazing news! (That you may or may not already know)
*Alan Wake 2 is comming!!!, and the character you play isn’t Alan which is actually awesome because he could be narrating while your wandering within the depth of the shadows….
Absolutely loved this~.
Aw man, it ended exactly when I started getting really into it
Love the addition of the timestamp before each post. Also, there's something about /x/ stories that just seem so… real. They've got just enough plausible deniability where it could be true, up until something crazy happens. You don't get that from reddit.
Is that supposed to be John's body at the end? I want to say i can make out socks or something sticking out from the rubble at 34:52 but i dont think that makes any sense since the cameraman doesnt seem to pay it any mind.
Reminds me of the network of tunnels under the local shutdown papermill.
Didn't understand the final post
Anyone else thinks that seeing the Librarian play ultrakill would be pretty cool?
I mean, descending deeper and deeper into hell through countless enemies with his commentary would be so.. bice
Ngl, the tension was so high that the ad that came up at the end of the video made me jump. Scared the hecc outta me.
I love your readings. These and the reddit stories you do are so soothing, you have a gift.
Honest to God the most terrifying creepypasta I've heard in many years. Subtle, very believable and grounded, with just a tiny hint of the supernatural, and extremely tense. That final video had me in a seat gripping agony of anticipation.
This was very interesting if librarian reads this I hope he dose more creepypastas like this
okay that ending was unnerving, but did i missed something there? or it's really just a path that missing person took?
looks like he's using his phone's flashlight
23:57 probably the asbestos or the gas could have leaked into the mask and caused hallucinations probably john died by gas or drowned best thing he could have done is stay put and wait even if it meant days
When you describe how thin the hallway was from the Macey State tunnel I never thought it would had been that thin.
This channel gives me some weird vibes(not bad ones). Every video I’ve seen makes the eerie maps/games immersive for the viewer. There’s not background music or loud talking of many people. It’s just the librarian and the game with few sounds being heard. That makes these videos way better for what’s being shown 🙂
"Carry two flashlights"
I would carry four – one in my hand, one on my hat, one mounted on my shotgun, and one mounted on my pistol. Goes for any form of caving or urbex. Not gonna find out.
Man, this one was really unnerving. I like how it doesn't just show a big scary monster at any point, instead mostly implying something is down there that may or may not be a person (the eyes), but is probably not human. The fact that there are environmental hazards shows that there are way more real-life dangers down there than whatever may be lurking down there, too. Really sent chills down my spine tbh. That ending, too! It was just someone walking down a hall and yet it somehow managed to be the most tense thing.
Would pay 20$ or more for a horror game based on this im not kidding! Love it.
You have such a good narrator voice, I love it.
Librarian Alan wake 2 is coming out just had a add for it
Hello! I'm the author of this — this is really cool, but could I ask that the description include a link to the original work?
Video 7 of asking the Librarian to play Superliminal
If it wasn't John's body.. who's body is it?
It doesn’t remind me of a dream I had but I’ll tell the dream anyways, me and my friend which is also a girl we’re trying to escape some murderer, which was a women. There was this locker room made of cement and very small me, and my friend hide in one of the lockers. The murderer opens my locker and stabs me in the eyes. I felt real pain.
This comment doesn’t really have anything to do with this video but I thought this game would be perfect pick for you to potentially play! “Spooky’s jump-scare mansion” was made by Akuma Kira! The same guy who made lost in vivo! Despite its name having jump-scare in it, it succeeds in creating the scare factor from atmosphere and not jump-scares alone. It’s more of an interactive thriller which I’m sure you would enjoy based on your content! I do intact know that you have indeed played this. However the HD version not only has a better atmosphere but also improved gameplay as well! “Plus specimens are more terrifying too” I Hope you take this into consideration librarian! Have a good day!
You should play little nightmares
26:15 defo eyes at the end of the collapsed tunnel
oh boy, seems like my long lost obsession with these types of audio horror stories is re-ignited
in the past content like this was absolutely everywhere, gosh i miss those days
edit: and the video additions are SO COOL, i'm on edge the whole time
Did anybody see those what appear to be white glowing eyes in "John's" last photo when he found his way to the old mine? That was pure nightmare fuel! Especially towards the end with that old time music playing in what I can assume is the lower section of Substation 9.
this is what creepypastas were always meant to be. Real dread, not the spooky ghost, but the real cold sweat of not knowing if what you see is reality
Awesome story, I love the idea of the endless tunnels underneath the ground that even though it’s just 4 or 5 feet under, the tunnels never end. Also this kinda reminds me of the basement in Outlast
I love your readings! Wonderful source of inspiration for my horror writing. ❤️
