  1. I would suggest you not to put too much effort into trying to build a fancy base right now, just build something functional until you get more base blueprints and then you can go crazy. Also, always start with a base foundation, you need the structural strength it provides.

  2. at 38:17 she all "Get wrecked yeah!!" and raising arms… I don't see you doing that next to a Reaper but covering to the side of the Aurora.
I guess you take victories where ever you can.

If you want a bit of extra oxygen and you have an uncooked bladderfish in your pocket, just eat it raw and it will give you 15 seconds of oxygen.

Same if you built the Air Bladder, instead of using it to float up to surface in a jiffy, you can suck the air for also 15 seconds more of oxygen.

And you will get your "Room" building and helluva one, just keep progressing in the story and you'll find it!

Keep yoinking, noinking and all that, I love it!!

  3. Soon you will find out that running out of resources is such a pain ,more that any monster could ever be. also I would recommend building even just simple one room or one pipe bases in areas that are far away or that have unique resources so you have a safe place to restock and recharge batteries . Otherwise your going to need to bring alot of stuff for long journeys and the inventory is going to be a nightmare

  4. You should go into the options in the game, as there is an option there to pause while you read om your tablets, or in other words, you do not loose oxygen when reading your tablet underwater.

  5. In the options menu there is an options tick that you can set to pause the game while you are in the PDA. This means you can read in peace without your hunger or thirst increasing or having to worry about running out of oxygen.

  6. 14:26 "Can't I change the oxygen tank quickly if I run out of oxygen underwater?"
    Yes. Yes you can.
However, the tank must also be filled. So don't forget to change the tank again when you are back in the air so that the replacement tank is also filled again.

  7. Loved the episode! Here's a few comments!

    1) So glad you read the PDA! So much of the story is in there. Glad you did it!
    2) I know I would've reloaded a save after beaching my Seamoth, but you should've tried to get back to your pod – even if it meant swimming in murky water past a reaper. Would've been great content.
    3) I'm glad you liked the voice log with Chief Technical Officer (CTO) Yu. She's one of my favorite characters from Subnautica. <3
    4) I'll have you know that dying in that exact fire is where another YouTuber, Markiplier, had one of his deaths. There's quite the pile of corpses at that fire.

Great episode, looking forward to the next!

  8. "Pause on PDA" is an option in the "Accessibility" tab, very useful IMO.
I would recommend not keeping partially built base pieces, either build it entirely or remove it .๐Ÿ ๐Ÿ‘

  9. The dooorway you tried to get into and died of fire is the right way, you can jump at the boxes, you don't need a pro/repulsion cannon.
Don't take much items with you when you go to the Aurora. You can find food, water, batteries there (also leave some space for posters).
On your first trip to Aurora you don't need anything except a repair tool. But then you'll need to come back with a laser cutter.

  10. i would rather see mistakes being made than someone who edits out all the death and poor choices, you are not the first or the last person to burn themselves to death trying to cheese the cargo bay debris. propulsion cannon is all i will say. i think you are doing a great job facing your fear of water
