This weekend at the Strongsville show was an absolutely amazing experience. So many amazing friends, collectors, and laughs. I spend more money at this card show than at any show I’ve ever attended. I bought two amazing goal cards, including a pre war hall of famer. I came home with a slew of amazing cards, but even better memories. So many terrific friendships were strengthened in a weekend of fun times, laughs, meals, and experiences. I’m lucky to have met this amazing group of collectors, and was honored by the MidLife Community Members that came up and introduced themselves. I absolutely can’t wait until next year’s Strongsville show, because I will be back!!

Enjoyed watching as usual and man you sure picked up some real big boy cards there wow congratulations
Mike's the best!
What is registration?
Terrific pickups and, most importantly, you had a great time with outstanding members of the card community 👏👏👏
some great pickups !! thanks for sharing the adventures in cards.
Hello Graig this is Steve from Las Vegas, it was great to get to talk to you and even better to watch the deal go down on our Baughs. We couldn’t be happier with those cards, the color and condition is fantastic for a card from the 50’s. Your 1950 Sammy is beautiful. Way to pull the trigger on that card. So glad that you got to meet my oldest friend Don and had the opportunity to enjoy his vast knowledge of vintage football cards. Glad you had a great time in Ohio and keep up the good work enjoy all of your content.
Great meeting you Graig!! Glad you had a great time! Till the next time
That cartoon art is amazing. Huge upside long term on this.
He said the Spahn is $550 plus 20% for good centering is $110 = $660 NOT 750 like he said. Come on! 😂 😂 😂
Awesome Graig! Great pickups. That Spahn and Hornsby are gorgeous!!!
As a die hard REDSKINS fan since the early 80s, I love the Baugh pickups. After making my money in 2020/21, id love to add one or 2 to my PC just haven’t been able to close a deal at Chantilly yet.
Another note, I have a special connection to the 73 Topps set. It’s my birth year.
Awesome pickups!
Love the Hornsby, gorgeous color, sorry i haven't been watching lately, going through some s–t at home
I agree vintage football is undervalued… I have a hand ful of sammy baugh cards.. i mean SLINGIN sammy baugh… I think his cards are very under valued and continue to pick up a couple each year at a show when I see a nice version…. just bought one at the chantill show a month or so ago…
I have bought cards from Ash multiple times at the chantilly and philly show.. he always is the best vintage table at the shows and to be honest overwhelmes me at the number of cool cards he has…many VERY expesnive cards tho I cannot touch…
What a great adventure you had this weekend. Congrats!
Can I ask what they settled on for that 15K ruth card ? You did not say so not sure if you r trying to not say it.. but I’d love to know what they settled on for a 15k card… its a more rare price to negotiate…. very high priced card…
Graig, no way, my Spahn is the exact REA comp you used that’s a little off centered! That dude was trashing my card to get more out of you. Haha! You did great. I still love mine, and yours is better and for $625 is a great deal. You could say I helped you bring the price down! great pickup. Also, a note about Yuengling Mike got – it is the same brewery that still brews beer today in PA, but they couldn’t in the 20s because of prohibition , so they made ice cream to stay in business.
That is too cool. I thought the Hornsby card was awesome, but the cartoon proof has to be better. Are you planning on framing it with the cards?
Oh my I'm so happy for you and that nettles gift. Absolutely amazing. Not to mention those 👀 cards from Strongsville.
Another SuperSoak Candidate That Spahn. JK Great card!
Thanks Graig for sharing your story of Strongsville
Like you said absolutely amazing amazing time
so glad to have met you
Great pick ups Graig. It was a great show, and overall it seems like the money was flowing for everyone. I know it was flowing out of my pocket lol.
Graig great show with a quick shoutout to Orlando, Sammy Thunder and ASH the great vintage dealer. Wonderful beautiful pickups so happy for you but what about your dream Ernie Banks rookie any luck? Thanks NY Lou
Who woulda thunk All the FuN was going to be in Strongsville, Ohio???
Great meeting up with you and the rest of the team. AND that’s what it was. The moral of the story was Everyone scored BIG!
I will be attending that show every year. The Topps artwork gift with” Graig” on it was the highlight for me. Talk about a friend.
The negotiation process was fun to watch but more fun when I saw what you got! 🎉🎉🎉
Great meeting you my handsome friend
I prefer color and registration before centering too, not that there's anything wrong with a well centered card. My concern however, is when the color seems to be too good to be true. PSA and SGC doesn't always catch that certain pre-war and vintage cards were added in color. Won't know definitely for at least another 10 years. I guess when there is a wax stain on the back, it was less likely to have been altered? Unless it was just a shoddy job. I really do think back of card is under appreciated for reason you mentioned too, it has stats and unique and interesting facts. But, that was a great story with the '73 art work. Those kind of gifts you'll always be able to appreciate. +
Looks like you had an incredible show
Amazing pickups
Wow just an amazing video!!! I am a Warren Spahn collector as well and that is an absolute beauty. Those Sammy Baugh cards are absolutely stunning.
Gave a video like as always – Congratulations on those pickups, Graig! The Spahn and the two football cards are all amazing cards! Was a pleasure meeting you at the show.
Thank you for sharing your experience at this card show!!! The one thing that came through very clear from your video is that it is so important to buy the card and not the grade. Also, collecting vintage cards is very different from modern. I think all of your purchases were, exceptionally cool!
I haven’t been to Sports Card show in a very, very long time. On the one hand, it would be fun to go to one. On the other, I don’t feel like I have the budget that I saw you and others working with this in the video. Even though you had some great pick ups, seem to me that the best part of the experience for you was just hanging out with the other people you knew, your hobby friends. Do you agree?
Again, thanks for sharing this experience with us!!!
U got some awesome cards Graig. Have a great week!
Wow, great stuff, Graig. Will your wife let you go to Strongsville ever again?
Spahn for the win!…and that's saying something because the Hornsby and the Maraquard are beautiful…and then you pull out those beautiful Baugh cards. Oh the colors and registration on those. Man, did you score big time.
I don't care if some people will disagree with me, but the SGC holders ARE THE BEST for vintage cards. That Spahn looks amazing. I just will no longer buy any card in a PSA holder unless I get a great deal. But even then I'll send it to SGC to get it re-slabbed.
Graig it was awesome hanging out with you! Congrats on the Spahn deal, that is soooo awesome!!! Your videos from the National were top notch!
Great to meet you over the weekend and thanks for the T206 auto! It was awesome being there as the deal for Mike's Ruth was going down. Congrats on the sweet pickups, awesome looking cards! Love vintage football as well.
All of your pickups are awesome but that 1973 original artwork is one of the coolest things I've seen in the hobby! I'm sure you will PC that forever! Very cool!
Graig…Thanks for sharing your experience and card purchases from Strongsville. That original artwork you have is truly an amazing piece of historical artwork! Congrats for being part of its history . 👍
Awesome pick ups Graig, especially the spahn it's high on my list too. It was great meeting you this weekend too, great guy and a great channel, always look forward to your videos.
Looks like Strongsville was really good for you. What an amazing gift!! Love all five SGC slabs you picked up! See you at the National. Dave
Congratulations on all the pickups Graig! some great ones dood.
But man, that original Topps art….WOW.
Thank you for the video. You got some awesome cards and that story of the 73 Topps was really great.
Graig is simply a class act!!!
Cartoon art and accompanying cards….best of the show in my eyes!
Nice pick-ups Graig.
Hey Graig loved these Strongsville vids because you took the time to show what was there for people that cant attend . Did you see much vintage boxing there ??
It was great meeting you, Graig. What a fun video (awesome production as always). Congrats on your fantastic pickups — that Spahn and Hornsby are awesome. And unlike what the snapshot of me in the background might suggest at 7:50, I had a total blast at the Friday event and the whole weekend, LOL. You also caught me making my quickie $130 deal with Ash while he was in the midst of that five-figure banger with Petty! Thanks for sharing.
