After a multi day severe storm outbreak lashed eastern Australia, more storms and the potential for isolated severe storms look to be on the forecast across parts of South Eastern Queensland, New South Wales an Central Queensland.

  1. Wouldn't you think that those good chaps of the BOM could check first BEFORE they flip the Off switch of their flamin' radar! In this case they only needed to hold off for 1 day!

    Josh, I have a little suggestion for your channel. Way back in the Jurassic when I was keeping met. records I remember a small detail called 'Other areas of interest' that the BOM used to include in their daily forecasts. This item was especially useful during the cyclone season as it gave us a heads – up for potential cyclone threats. I notice that at this time we have invest 94S in the Central Indian Ocean. Obviously, it is no threat to anyone but it may be an indication of what the ITCZ is doing in its slow advance towards Northern Australia. Might it be possible to add this little feature to your podcast?
