Striking postal workers take their message to Canada Post headquarters



Over a hundred of Canada Post workers held a rally outside of the Crown corporation’s head office in Ottawa on Thursday, as the strike job action by 55,000 postal workers nears the end of its second week. CTV’s Tyler Fleming has the latest.

  1. What about the bonuses that awarded to the executives of Canada post, while the company is in deep loss? Why there will be any bonus if the company is not making money. Infrastructure development cost cannot be shown as loss!! If the company is not making money, why they bought million dollrs EV vehicle? The authority who is running the company should question for the loss of the company, not the worker who are turning the wheel of the company.

  2. For these workers, who use the entire Canadian's interest hostage to negotiate, I disrespect their work and service and I will avoid Canada Post service as much as I can in the future. This organization will be eliminated by technology and history if they do not reform fundimantally.

  3. 1:41. Just go bankrupt already. Amazon far better at delivering items/packages with care than Canada Post.

    Companies will need to fight for survival based on the market demands. Looks like shopping will be in person this time around.

  4. If Canada post raises their postage even a penny, im just going to email more and never use their services again.. I dont support strikers for the very reason that I know ultimately I will be paying got their demanding raises

  5. These union crime bosses don't want to pay their members with union money so they lay them off for the tax payers to pay when they collect E.I !
    They will get more on E.I than what they get for strike pay and it's cynical as well as ruthless.
