Most imagine insterstellar warfare would be conducted in space and would feature conflicts between heavily armed and futuristic spacecraft. While that is true to a certain extent, it is also true that spacecraft cannot garrison the surface of an alien world, nor can they match the strategic might of planet-based weapons. Strike variant starships like Argent and Fury incorporated these realities into their designs, and combined orbital gunnery support with marine amphibious operations.
The result is as formidable as it is deadly, because the forces that descend from space are comprised of the brave men and women belonging to the Skywatch Marine Corps. There is no fighting force on, over or under any planet known to man more feared. They don't charge out of landing craft. They don't repel out of helicopters.
They dive out of orbit.
