As someone who recently tried to do something similar, I feel your pain going through this women's tour – it's about 100% easier when you can get a decent F2P women's card from the portal (which i guess is true for the dudes too)
on your breakdown of events now, maybe you can breakdown for f2p players. You do it on the boss battle and it helps me so much. I almost never have the css for events
