  1. This game is one of those classic RPGs that’s supposed to be impossible in the start. That’s why you didn’t like the combat. You need to run from enemies at the start similar to games like Elex

  2. Hello loved the review and you have earned a subscribe! I did want to ask though. You said the little guy roji or whatever helps you in combat but did not show any of this that i saw. Is this only in scripted areas or did i misunderstand? Also can you sheathe your weapon in any way and is there any "magic" or ranged combat at all?

  3. I was so excited for this game, bought this game today but the colors and dodging parrying times threw me off so much the colors shouldn't even be there if the dodge and parrying times are different! Enemies don't even stagger from taking hits really wish I liked this game but I dropped it after 2 hours

  4. For me, key bindings are essential for these kinds of games. When I go into a new portal, my key binds reset back to default on its own. Not sure if this happens to anyone else.

  5. Even for people who like souls games I don't recommend this. I'm big fan of souls combat but I don't like the feel of this game at all. Having colour indicators for attack types takes all the fun out of deciding how you want to play and what you want to do moment to moment. The way poise and stagger work in this game don't feel good or satisfying. Having difficulty settings and modifiers is a good thing in most games, but in a souls like it just makes it feel like the game wasn't balance properly so you have to tailor the experience yourself, and then you don't really have the same "i did it!" feeling afterwards. Ended up quitting after several hours, it just doesn't feel good to play in my opinion.
