I can going to be real happy when she can finally kill that guy in jail who deals bleeding damage to you
I love your gameplay Gab! I went with prisoner for my character and am doing essentially the same build as you. The main tip I want to give is to definitely remember to drop down where the dogs are in Stormveil, the item there is important. And in the room with the grafted scion right past the room with the Halberd Knight, there is a VERY useful shortcut, as well as an option to go Around the room with the knight by jumping over the low wall in the same place you can drop down to where the dogs are.
Oh! There is also a merchant with a few VERY useful items in the weeping peninsula just south of the ruins with the witch in them, definitely worth popping back there quickly! And lastly I’d definitely recommend getting the crafting kit and buying up any cookbooks you come across, they aren’t really needed in Limgrave but in the areas after that you are definitely going to need to be able to craft items like boluses at the very least. 😊
right now I basically can't watch anyone else play this but you, I'm so invested in how you're playing – I Love the dex + int I think its a super interesting combo and you're doing awesome with it! I'm absolutely hooked watching you so I always look forward to your uploads!
Tip: When you kill godrick in the castle go back to the bell turtle you killed so you can duplicate it
At 1:56:51 there is a pile of sandbags that you can use to hop the wall.
Use a lantern.
I know that it's so much easier to say than to do, and I guarantee you that I'd have forgotten it myself, but you really should try to remember your other spells when facing certain enemies c: for example, if you'd used one of your burst spells instead of the single-fire one, you wouldn't have had so much trouble with stationary enemies(see SPICY birbs).
Loving your playthrough so far! We've got similar neck problems, and watching always exacerbates it less than when playing, so I truly appreciate you battling through your stiffness to provide us with quality content.
P.S. your sinus issues probably stem from tension in your scapular, trapezius and base-of-skull regions. Try gently massaging those areas, and perhaps buy a microwaveable wheat pillow to soothe the inflamed areas
Do you know U can upgrade minions you summon in fight ?! This get get on higher level of experiance.
Yes another day another elden ring episode. Life’s good.
Gab don't worry! Your gameplay is super nice to watch, and of course your voice is calming. A lot of people aren't uploading the full game so i'm really happy you are. Plus I love the fact you chose a magic build! It's so nice to watch.
I keep watching your Elden Ring videos on loop while I wait for more I personally can't get the game and haven't played any fromsoft games because I've been intimidated by them. Though watching you play Sekiro got me interested in them and now I'm considering trying Dark Souls out but I don't know which game I should start with as a complete beginner to the games…
On another note, please don't feel pressured to rush, just keep playing the way you see best fit! I love that you're not just rushing through the story since I personally would also just explore the world before progressing the story little by little. Can't wait for more of this, love your playthrough/s!
Stormveil Castle is so improbably HUGE. I’ve been exploring it for like ten hours and there’s still places I can see I haven’t found how to get to.
To break the statue in the castle you gotta kite the big boi giant all the way to it. It's very exciting lol
Oh and for paintings, you're trying to find the exact spot the artist was standing in. I haven't found that one but I found another.
I could talk about tips all day, but I don't want to give a knowledge overload lol, a big one I don't see many people talk about though! YOUR HORSE, he's soooo useful for open area boss fights. It takes some getting used to horseback combat (moreso with magic aiming, flail is fine though). His speed when you dash and his double jump help avoid some really crazy attacks like the dragon's breath. That was the only way I could beat him! You can use the little raisins to heal your horse if he gets hurt during combat also! Hope this helps a bit, loving the playthrough so far! 🙂
Also if you're having trouble with mister bleed greatsword guy, go talk to Santa Merchant! You'll be able to comment on something you heard in the forest, and he'll enlighten you on what it was and how it'll end up helping you out with that boss 😉
for someone who cant play games due to poverty… this has been really fun to watch!!!! always a fan of yours gab!!!! thank you for also introducing me to games!!!!
Really, really loving this play through. Have been keeping it on in the background while I'm working, so I can stretch it out over a work day, and every time I finish an ep I start calculating the time zones to see how close I am to a possible new upload, lol.
Helpful tip! Baldachin’s blessing (the one from hugging that lady) actually lowers ur hp by 6%. So if ur not gonna use it, it’s better to just use the blessing (it’s one time use) and then pass time at grace so the debuff goes away
You have become part of my morning routine: have breakfast while watching part of your Elden Ring streams. Puts me in a good mood before heading to work ^^
Hi, could you go to the gray circle. It looks like a manhole cover. I do not know what it is. It just interests me. Or go in your own time. Thanks. Stay safe from Covid=19 to you, Shawn and your loved ones.
Solution to a few of your worries: There is an int-scaling crystal sword in the zone after you finish with the castle. lets you use those sword arts that are sorcery based, and also means you don't have to worry as much with balancing more levels into dex for a fallback weapon, since it gets stronger with your int. It's off to the west in a poisonous marsh. place called the something something albinaurics. village of albinaurics? i dunno. you go across a bridge, fight a few weak enemies, and grab the sword. easy peasy.
Why when you go to a cliff there is 2 birds about 99% of the time?
59:50
Definitely not Mark XD
Hi, Just think how hard your game would be without magic. Wow.
How to get the item inside the statue in Stormveil Castle:
From the grace, go outside and take a left turn to find a couple of soldiers and a giant on the stairs. Lure the giant back to the statue, and all he needs is to walk over it and the statue breaks open. Not sure if that's the only way to open it, but using the giant is at least one method.
get the lantern from the north-west most corner on the map
Hi, Keep doing it the way your doing it. It looks like your having fun.
Did you see what Julian discovered? The soulfarm! 😳
Tip, Gab do not forget you can jump, a lot of hidden place need you to jump, i found than the castle have a lot of hidden jumping place for good treasure 😀 As alway thank you so much for each video you do 😀
Gabさん かわいーヘアスタイル☆ (*´∀`*)
Big momma pot blasted through that wall like the Koolaide guy
North of Agheel Lake South you will find ruins with a giant flower monster, in those ruins there are stairs that go down to a mini boss if you kill him there is a NPC you can buy new spells from! Also if you add Gravatas to your weapon it will scale with intelligence and it can be removed and put on something else at any time.
im enjoying this series so much!!!! thanks for uploading every day gab!
It's been a pleasure to watch your series alongside my own play Gabs. A little useful maintenance for your playstyle if you'd like it. If you lower your shield between attacks you'll actually recharge your stamina quicker than if you keep it raised. Hope it helps, and god speed Goobers 😁
Please keep exploring and playing the game the way you want to play. I love it. So entertaining. Keep doing you. 😊
A mage that refuses to use magic against bosses 🤣
I love how Gab runs towards giant tree monster bosses but is afraid of a dude on a horse. xD Also! You can roll away from trapped chests! lol xD
Godrick has to be the COOLEST boss design I've ever seen since Ludwig the Accursed/Holy Blade. He wasn't easy at first (because I kept running tf away like a bish baby), but once his moveset was learned, BA-BOOMY
I don't want to spoil anything, but just a tip, the Ashes of War can be applied over and over again, so you don't ever lose any of them. They change the special attack for the weapon, the two handed L2 attack.
Ashes of War = Weapon Arts
They're swappable in this game so you can make your flail do all sorts of cool moves that might be really helpful. You can swap them as needed too. So go ham and find which one you like the most. You have a lot of options. If you sit at the site of grace and choose Ashes of War, you can see which ones you collected You need to 2H or left hand the weapon to use it. It's the same as DS3 except the weapon arts aren't locked to specific weapons anymore. If you find an Ash of War (Weapon Art) you like, you might be able to use it on all of your weapons. They can really change how you play the game.
I've been watching your Elden Ring videos everyday during plan period at school and it is the best way to relax and reset for the rest of the day. Love all your videos!
