Was reading someone elses weather cast and they definitely predict tornadoes in SC this evening and maybe tomorrrow from Charleston and looks like even into the midlands where we live.   25. I m so thankful for Mark’s Accurate Weather prediction. Because Of Mark, I knew days ahead there was a storm coming and went to Sam’s to get cases of water. My husband thought I was crazy because he watches the weather channel daily and assured me there was no storm. He even asked his friends if they had heard about a storm coming and they all said no (a week before Nicole formed, I was prepared thanks to Mark). I kept asking Hubby to check the generator and again he thought I lost my mind (that could be true too). It is thanks to Mark that I was prepared and Avoided the Madness at the store! Let’s show him Our Support by doing a $ Thanks donation. It is as low as $1.99! IF we ALL do a small $1.99 donation, it will add up fast and help him and his family. I don’t know this guy but I respect him for All he does, Home schooling?! That’s a Job and a Half! He is “Schooling” Us about our local weather. His time is valuable and we should show our appreciation with a little financial help (IF we have the means. I know times are tough)! I just don’t want to lose him. I suffer from severe anxiety and The weather channel’s hype makes me soooo nervous. This is the first time I didn’t watch the WC and I felt confident, relaxed that we were going to be ok.   36. <Puts on Appraiser Hat> LISTEN UP PEOPLE!!! Ocean rising 1/5" per year or 1" every 5 yrs, and getting faster. For every 1" of rise, expect 0-200 feet of lateral erosion, depending on elevation gain. Who builds their castle on sand? Sea Walls cause reflection, increasing scouring dramatically. DON'T BUILD SEA WALLS!!!! Setbacks are clearly WAY TOO SHORT. Recommend 200 feet ++ setbacks and no Grandfather Clause for "natural ocean elements" damage, meaning if your place gets scraped, and you under the setback, YOU CANNOT REBUILD. If you own property near the ocean below 30 feet elevation, YOU are the last sucker left holding the bag. Your Grandchildren won't see their inheritance. Over 3000 properties in the Outer Banks have disappeared over the last 300+ years. Who are the idiot bankers who lend money here? Betcha Insurance Companies are bailing out too. Saw one video of a home UNDER CONSTRUCTION . . . LOL. So now, if you want to sell, you MUST find cash buyers only, aka suckers, or stupid lenders and stupid insurance companies. You can buy them books, but they will only eat the covers. I was warning folks 20 years ago to SELL, SELL, SELL. This story is just getting started WORLDWIDE. I know nothing about climate change, but I promise you the water level will get higher and higher and higher, faster and faster, and faster.
