  1. You see a lot of directions this could go in, but the question remains if any of those ideas provide fruitful, or if we get another huge plot point dropped out of the blue due to some sort of time constraint.

  2. In the game its way more gryish and insidious to a degree, because it involves the titans nudging life to follow on their desired path, so theres value in evaluating both sides of the coin.
The problem in real life with these conspiracies is not that they "just think different". Its people with little to no knowlege of basic science claiming "i dun wanna dat in mew bewdy" vs people who actually study the science behind it and knows why its better to have it than to not have it. In the case of fluoride.

  3. floride being bad is not a conspiracy, its literally the leading ingredient in rat poison for a reason..its not good for you.also why toothpaste says do not swallow .just fyi high amounts are bad for ya. floride started to be in water b.c companies paid to have studies done to show the positives of it but not the negatives due to them mining ext and not wanting to spend money having to dispose of it. look it up. great video as usual you guys are great.

  4. Seems much less like mind control, and more closely related to domestication. Like, naturally existing, uninfluenced proto drakes are feral, and act feral. Order-influenced, Element-influenced, Void-influenced, and Death-influenced proto-drakes become dragons, primalists, and Galakrond. Each has a different thought process, behavior, and conscious behavior. Not mind controlled.

Whether or not they themselves are on board with what that influence does to them, support the cause of that influence's origin, or are even self aware at all, is another matter entirely, as far as I can see.

  5. Speaking of "Compliance Juice", Remember what happened to the Black Dragon Flight when Neltharion went mad. His whole flight was taken by his madness.

but, if the Primalists are for the Elements of the world … Where does that leave Shamans? Closet Primalists?

  6. There's a webnobel 'Parahumans' (Worm) about superpowers in modern society, and the super powered police uses certain power clasifications related to mind control, and mental influence/control of all kinds (Like chemical changes in the brain, addiction to prescence, worshiping, minion control of lesser creatures, etc) under the umbrella 'Master' or 'Mastering. With a number from 1 to 10 that affects their protocols.

Titan water may not be 'master 10' or whatever like something similar to perma mind control, but its clearly on the scale. Its not zero.

  7. i miss the days when the Titans and The Light were without a doubt the good guys. I really am tired of this trend of making the forces that were good into being morally questionable and sometimes just actually evil like what they did with The Light with Xe'ra and the AU Draenor lightbound timeline. It used to be that the Scarlet Crusade were just an outlier but now it seems like the bad examples of The Light are coming up more often.

The Titans went from "We are part of the life cycle of the universe, we make planets into places that can support life and then seed them with life and then someday a new Titan is born that will then also bring life to planets." to "Yeah we just want to remake the universe in our image and you flesh things are just an accident and are sometimes a useful tool for us."

The light went from "We are the cosmic force of good and bring healing and life to those that ask and act with selflessness in their hearts. Some people are bad and can use the light but thats only because they believe really really hard in the light." to "The universe will obey, it will conform to our way of being and anything that gets in the way of converting all things to light and light worship will be purged and subjugated."

  8. Someone probably mentioned it, but if you just for a moment accept, that Azeroth is not a Titan soul, but just a pool of energy suddenly qoute from Il'gynoth "king of diamonds has been made a pawn" makes more sence.

  9. Greek mythology, Roman mythology and Egyptian mythology, do you know why they are fun? Because their stories made sense, weird as they are the stories make sense.

Human beings have been "corrupting nature" for ages by peeing in the water. "Halls of Infusion" is just another term for sewage farm. Are the Titans putting fluoride or magnesium in the water or are they putting LSD into the water? The is a slight difference between them.

Ok so here's a thought…Titans are known to destroy or imprison anything that goes against their idea of order right? Perhaps the future that everybody is so afraid of (The Jailor, Primalists, Void, Nozdormu, etc.) Is an order infused Azeroth being born and "Ordering the Universe".
If Azeroth was completely "Corrupted" by Order, perhaps she will attempt to order everyone and everything. If she views anything in the universe as chaotic, she may just destroy it or imprison them.
This could be the true "End Time" the entire universe being destroyed or imprisoned due to the titans interference of Azeroth

  11. Given the potential real-life reference points of all of this, I doubt it'll go anywhere. WoW is, in spite of everything, a very diverse game. Dragonflight already risks alienating significant chunks of the audience through rather hamfisted messaging. A clear political slant in the direction of; "More government is always better!" wouldn't go down well with that crowd, and Blizzard as a company doesn't want to turn that many customers away. On the other hand, leaning too heavily into the whole; "Question everything!"-theme definitely risks upsetting people who are in the center, who remain the majority. They'd have to walk on eggshells.

Now, I don't know whether or not someone at Blizzard is being incredibly self-aware about all of this, trying to hint at the inspiration behind some of the central themes of this expansion (the conclusion of which will probably be "enlightened centrism wins, be joyful and consume!" to avoid rocking the boat), but there's literally a gay frog in Tyrhold. I don't know if that's just someone not thinking about how that might go down or a crass joke, but it's a thing.

  12. People take these stories and interviews way to face value. The titans weren’t “bad”, they are beings of order. They saw something scary and tried to fix it.
One of the classic tropes is the person who sees everything logically, so they can’t foresee unintended consequence. The old gods are shadow/void but they’re also chaos. It makes it where anything the Titans want to do will either become oppressive or fall apart.
In fact it happens in the real world all the time. Ever hear person say, if only they would do what I tell them to? What about, if people would all just agree then this wouldn’t be a problem? It’s the truth of life that people want things to be that way, but chaos exists and there can’t be a perfect order without the power to impose that order…being corrupted.

  13. Why does everyone always assume the worst out of oden? He was named prime designate so all the keepers have an obligation to do what he says. Yet going behind people's backs and rewarding disobedience seems to be want the history of wow wants to highlight as righteous and noble

  14. the Titans shouldn't be evil at all.
All they are doing is trying to Order the universe, to prevent chaos. I really don't want them to change the previous good guys into evil, or even morally grey.
Bad guys can just be bad and good guys can just be good. you don't need sympathetic villains, or antagonistic heros.
