If you want even more Stephen King in your face aliens, check out Tommyknockers. It gets a lot of crap, both the book and the mini series, but I like it. I'm not crazy about Dreamcatcher though.
Never cared for the way the made Dud’s an alien, and the British baddie voice for Mr Grey was a bit hooky, but over all not a bad representation of the book.
I always hated this movie . It's because I bought it on DVD when it came out and the disc would always freeze about 3/4 of the way in and the majority of the final 1/4 was not playable on my payer . I even repurchased the DVD about a year later and had the same issue with the second DVD so I've never seen the last quarter of the film . Not sure if it was a player issue or defective DVDs . I never really cared enough to dig them out and investigate further .
Great reaction to an underrated Stephen King adaptation but to me this movie is just still kind of “meh” for me. Much better than what many give it credit for though.
This is a coke induced fever dream of a story. I was actually surprised when they decided to make a movie out of this story. I hated that Pete and Beaver were killed off.
It’s crazy I searched for a reaction to this movie a day before you guys posted lol nobody ever react to it but I always loved it from when I watched it as a kid and in my 20’s now lol wish more people would react to it but glad you guys loved it. I’m just know finding it it’s a Stephen king movie and linked to IT verse lol.
Great cast, fun movie. Was excited to see the Mrs. reaction to the "ass weasels." LOL! Love that her "memory warehouse" is a "she shed." My "memory warehouse " files were converted to digital in the 2000s and are full of bugs and glitches.
One more Stephen King movie I wished I had see. Before I read the book. Just about every movie based on a full king novel is so much worse & different than its source material. I know I would've loved this movie if I saw it first, great cast, cool story & effects. Just loved the book so much its hard not to be disappointed. I did like it better this time since it's been so long since I read it
16:47 A very wise assumption Mrs. Movies! After seeing a strange event and then a military helicopter shows up with people dressed up in white gear, that is very sus!!!
I watched about half of your reaction or at least to the bathroom scene when I decided to not finish. First time this as happened while watching you guys
I don’t think the dates line up in the novel for Pennywise to be a threat to Josie when she was stuck in the sewers. The childhood sections take place in the 70s and Pennywise was absent from 1958-1985
Directed by Lawrence Kasdan, who wrote RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK and THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK….co-written by William Goldman, who wrote THE PRINCESS BRIDE, BUTCH CASSIDY AND THE SUNDANCE KID and also adapted MISERY!
I've read most of Kings books and love all of them. This is one of the better adaptations apart from Duddits being an alien… that bit ruined the ending so much, I left the theatre with a bad taste in my mouth.
Great reaction, guys! I think "Tommyknockers" is the only other overtly alien novel that I can recall from Mr. King. The TV adaptation for it was meh, but you can watch it if you have nothing better to do.

Ass Blasters. You guys ever watch Tremors??? They have things that are literally called Ass Blasters.
Someone needs to clean the toilet
Side note: MARS also deals in pet care products.
Enjoy that candy bar.
How high was King when he wrote this one?

Don't worry adults in Stephen King novels are more impervious to being run down by traffic then children.
Stephen King’s Tommyknockers was also about aliens, I believe.
The real horror of this story is that the whole time they thought he was their friend while he was setting them up to be sacrificed the entire time.

The sequel to I, Robot, I, Duddits…. is weird.
Loved this one, great pick yall
Check out “The First Power.” One of the best horror movies 💯

My only reaction to this movie was: WTF?
Neat bit of Stephen King lore, Pennywise was also referred to as Mr Grey in ‘IT’ 😎
Wow 20 years has passed 😮 read the book as well

One thing Is certain. Stephen king Is obsessed with Maine 😅
Would you consider watching 'Platoon (1986)?'
Brutal Vietnam War film.
It stars Willem Dafoe, whom you also watched in 'American Psycho.'
It also features Keith David, who starred in 'They live.'
Also starring John C. McGinley, that nice doctor from 'Scrubs.'
And of course Tom Berenger and introducing Charlie Sheen.

I wonder if they'll recognize Donnie Wahlberg as the adult Duddits
What's next, Meatballs 2 and/or Mac & Me?
Fuckaroe – I hated this on the first two watches and didnt get the whole focus and duddits was odd but it's okay, I like it a lot.
16:47 A very wise assumption Mrs. Movies! After seeing a strange event and then a military helicopter shows up with people dressed up in white gear, that is very sus!!!
As a kid I couldn't watch this. Once the Alien showed up I ran out screaming…. Then I watched it again at age 13.
The invisible 2007 whenever you guys get a chance. Thanks
It's not a very popular film, but despite its flaws, i enjoyed this one.
It was my second Stephen King book(the first was Riding the bullet) I remember I cried a lot reading Dreamcatcher.
I saw this in the theaters! The aliens still gross me out!
I love this movie 💖
good movie.
Really love y'all's Horror reactions. So funny 😁😂🤣🙏🏼🙏🏼
I watched about half of your reaction or at least to the bathroom scene when I decided to not finish. First time this as happened while watching you guys
Shit-weasel. He knows the books.
I duddits mutha fukas
Dream catcher aka Morgan freemans eyebrows
I feel like this movie fits into the "Lost" category; lots of ideas and ZERO CLUE what to do with them.
I don’t think the dates line up in the novel for Pennywise to be a threat to Josie when she was stuck in the sewers. The childhood sections take place in the 70s and Pennywise was absent from 1958-1985
One of the instances where I agree with King that this is a bad adaptation. The source as well was pretty weak.
I feel like the Mrs would really like the Needful Things movie adaptation
I can definitely say, at the age of 63, that my memory is completely intact.
It's never been used. ✌️
Did not know that was Donnie until I'm in theater watching the credits!😂 Same with Six Sense.
I've read most of Kings books and love all of them. This is one of the better adaptations apart from Duddits being an alien… that bit ruined the ending so much, I left the theatre with a bad taste in my mouth.
Donnie Wahlberg from New Kids On The Block, and Mark Wahlbergs older brother as Duddits. Gotta love it!!
Great reaction, guys! I think "Tommyknockers" is the only other overtly alien novel that I can recall from Mr. King. The TV adaptation for it was meh, but you can watch it if you have nothing better to do.
