focus on fixing the climate crisis here on earth first!!
3d printed? Doesn't seem like it
There is no way of currently surviving on mars due to a lacking atmosphere and Olympus Mons (which is upside down and potentially floating at moments) jumping on the surface.
Thinking of surviving meteorite hail that come as potential car-sized bricks. You are very lucky located and i do not think Perseverance nor Curiosity will survive much longer.
This is what"?..
Mars 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
What a crock of poo..poo. What is wrong with living right here in Paradise?
A giant waste of money and time……..
Nobody will ever live on Mars. Zero chance

Aaahhhaaaahhaa😂 in your dreams …if you all don't go mad first , of coarse that's if you even get to the point of trying to land on Mars 😅
Is this a joke pls tell me this is a video from the 1st that they forgot to upload.

Yesterday was April 12, the International Cosmonautics Day. On April 12, 1961, Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin on the Sputnik-Vostok-1 rocket, which was designed by Sergei Pavlovich Korolev, made the 1st flight into Space in the history of mankind.
Where are the golf clubs……lol
SPACE ARCADE!!!
Gender-swapped NASA is cringe.

What's up with the totally unprofessional presentation?
This is awesome, and very appreciated. So, when I saw the floor plan, that is when I got a bit excited about things, and understood the environment (maybe a future video can lead with that). I would hope there would be more interior designed emotional support elements (sorry for my lack of concise wording) in the actual Mars habitat, perhaps dealing with overall lighting, colors, smells, patterns, textures, culture which could be manufactured into the furniture, fabrics, machines, etc. And those elements have flexibility to change (like the seasons)? I would also hope, that while people are living there, more habitat space would be created, facilitating hands on building experiences/learning. This is science, but it is also real estate. Anyway, just my 10 cents.
Bahahaha!! Humans living on Mars will never happen!!!
Space is far to inhospitable for humans to live for any prolonged length of time!! Absolute pipe dream!
Why didn't they build this in Antarctica? Too difficult for them? 😂
Is this where they get footage of Mars?
Awesome!
This is even harder than actually being there because you know you're still on earth, and the claustrophobic will set in compared to when you know Mars will be a planet where you can actually roam around.
You could take me to Mars right now with those living conditions 😂😂😂😂 that will work. Those African tribes living in the desert 🏜 would be ideal for Mars because they been at it for centuries in that cold and hot hot; also if you could live like a caveman 😂😂😂😂 you are straight, but good luck to this crew going in for a year 👍❤️. Pura Vida
So, did they also recruit volunteers that never held a video camera before, to record this? Wow.
how abou if we simulate a healthy earth
Living inside this for a year is not very much different to imprisonment
It's like they didn't even try to make the habitat realistic. The first Martian habitat is going to be a LOT crappier than this. The comfort is going to be way worse. Also, there's going to be the constant, realistic worry of a lethal accident such as depressurization, or of longer-term dangers such as running out of air, food or water. This study will tell us very little about the psychological impact of spending a similar amount of time in the first Martian habitat.
i wonder if they thought of an isolated containment unit for a jail type situation? Say someone goes nuts and tries to kill everyone which I would think could have a lot higher potential than just regular life how would you restrain that person?
is it equipped to simulate dust storms and the cold temp?
