  1. One thing to consider about Arc Furnaces is they delete trade deposits. Not necessarily the biggest drawback depending on what kind of empire you are building, but it can hurt if you are hoping to profit from trade. With your current build though alloys and minerals are much more important, so should be fine deleting the trade deposits.

  2. God dammit. Every time Jon plays Stellaris I get the itch the play all over again. Then I hop onto Steam, calculate the cost of the DLCs I don't have and weep little.

  3. Will the spiritualist empire send their pilgrims to a civilisation of materialist sentient disincarnated AIs?
Or would the fall of Zarqlan's head into the hands of these soulless technological abominations prompt a holy war to reclaim the relic and put an end to their hubris?
I guess we will find out soon!

  4. Loving this series so far, but I would prefer the somewhat less streamline-edited, longer form episodes of the previous series that run over an hour long. I think the new style of editing heavoly the Stellaris videos of the channel was good for one-offs, but this series lives on detail and prolonged engagement.

  5. Jon, minor optimization: if you have excess mineral or food income, set up a monthly trade rather then selling in chunks. This upsets the market less and results in higher energy income.

  6. uhhh jon, the new megastructures don't count as actual megastructures. They're like gateway's, you can build as many as you want at the same time. (up to the cap of course)

I wouldn't recommend that because it would tank the economy, but you can.
