This base reminds me of an old-school McDonalds
Wow! Great job! Base held well despite the "brutalism" concept. What's up with pumpkin head? Have we seen him before? Excellent video!
Great episode. Not sure how i feel about having to check the bodies again. The loot bags were always a funner thing to watch. Though the different zombies and stuff that show up in this mod are a great change.
Meat bags always had decent loot in fallout.
Man I was praying the wood blocks holding the steel storage didn't catch fire
looks like the bird got your cooking fire
i think you should play fallout4 so you would understand this mod better. as a massive fallout fan i love this mod and i thank you for playing it.
Could build a drive in parking pad like you did in Rebirth with the automatic drawbridge.
👏🥃
great episode
Love your sense of humor! "If I had a dollar for every stripper ive killed, id be able to hire my own" Had me dying!
Question for you… why didn't you try and scrap the ufo?
👍👍
I wasn't expecting to see a Zetan ship crashed in the forest. Certainly wasn't expecting a Radscorpion in the Horde until at least Day 30. That said, while the crawlers may have contributed to the crater, I think most of the damage there was because of the pipe bombs. I'd suggest the foundation basepad be the first base upgrade you work on so that it doesn't become a heavy liability before the next Horde. I'd also suggest going back to the spaceship and try wrenching it down. Who knows what other sorts of goodies are hidden within that thing?
i would suggest you being elevated and shooting downward maybe that'll help with the bodies that build up
hey temreki i am trying to make a series of darkness falls. can you give me any advice
Another excellent series. Your talent at filling in plot points like rescuing Jen definitely adds to the enjoyment. Well done!
Build a garage for the truck
24:06 Imma going to be real here, it sounds like the laser turret from Tibirium Sun.
You should just play fallout 4. Stop playing the the knock off lol
Well done 👍🏻
comment for the algorithm
“If I had a dollar for every stripper I killed today I could hire on” that needs to be a t-shirt. 🤣
I like raiding mutant bases. Good ammo and end loot.
Sir, people like you keep this game alive. Thank you for taking the time to make things interesting and fun to watch!
Tem, I did ammend my comment later about punching upwards. That's how I usually do it, but I didn't think about the fact that you are making a crawling base, maybe punching down onto their back is better. Also careful with throwables. They mess up turrets quickly, but chucking them on the ground while your turret is up high should be good obviously
Did anyone else notice that the wall clock behind Johnny tells the correct time?? Might be an idea to check out that other vault dweller cautious pancake’s PSA about constructing a zombie dropper that way they can’t even get close to plugging up your firing port. A big pit under the dropper filled with wooded blocks and a Molotov would be epic to watch. As always really enjoying the series, thanks bud 👍
Hey TEM, quick question. Does load order matter with the QOL mods you've highlighted. I went the manual path like you suggested and taught myself how to do it. However, I can't get all of wasteland to work with the mods you highlighted before. It installs the wasteland maps into my game. But on start I still have the normal stats. I dont get the 21 points and changed perks. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Gonna work at it. If you get a min to give me any ideas however it'd be appreciated. Thx.
Maybe the zombies were going to the side of the wedges on the top of the crawlway, so maybe make the wedge section 3 blocks wide? Past that more concrete so you can replace the blocks under the base, maybe put some concrete plates over concrete blocks for the ground around the kill zone.
Other than that the only thing I can think of is to make another set of ramps/beam down from the first set (heading away from the base).
If you wanted to support the ramps up a bit, then maybe an arch underneath them. Or perhaps two arches, one coming from each ramp that meet in the middle and use some alien tech to leave an open but supported space?
I think you need a Gauss Rifle for the 2mm electromagnetic rounds
yeah those bodies are a real pain in the ass, really hate that mechanic makes cleaning up a chore unless you want to burn the gore piles down. what i did, was replace the first two blocks with a door so you could dump the piled up bodies down from time to time, in addition i would suggest taking an axe for horde night to get rid of the bodies not falling down if you open the door. you should also look into adding a wedge tip 60 below so zombies aren't stuck on the round plate as you can see here: 28:40
I'm also a fan of using alien tech: instead of the normal half-block consider using a plate that floats, you can still place the sledge on the small rim of the plate and you are less likely to get any zeds stuck there. from the looks of things the angle from downwards against demos doesn't seem to matter if the zeds are crawling.
RIP campfire!
Idk the “alien tech” spiel is getting a little overworked.
It's seem it would be wiser to make where the zombie fall farther away from the support column.
I thought that I saw 'search zombie Renaissance man' during the horde- it was 'search zombie businessman' 😅😂 I'm a bit tired
Temreki the best 7DsTD content creator on YouTube!! Thanks for all your hard work Tem loving the Fallout mod. Don't forget to loot the bodies as there are no loot bags in the fallout mod
Amazing work. It’s so easy for the viewer to become part of the story.
The bad thing about short ducking bases is that once a zombie is dead your bullets will no longer penetrate it. The path needs to be a lot longer to let zombies move up past the previous bodies so you can shoot them. Don't know if those even still work with the simple AI that is active until zombies get closer.
At 26:30 what is the point of having a reinforced box if the base is mounted to is wood?
One random attack from a cop or bird and all the loot in it is lost.
You know you've spent too much time in 7D2D when you drive through the Wasteland and appreciate the nice neighbourhood.
