  1. Just got back from my stay at the MGM Grand. Worst experience I ever had with a hotel. Too much to even get into. Paid for 2 strip view rooms, got to look and listen to the taxi stand. Employee walked in unannounced.Maids knocked on door at 10 p.m. our 1st night and asked if we were checking out. Bathroom mirror lights were broken. Second day we came back to room and couldn't get into my son's room, he has special needs and needed his meds, the keys wouldn't work, down to the desk, was told we were a no show, questioned how we got keys, (we got them at checkin.), told we had to go wait in another line (30 mins) to straighten it out before we got in trouble.(trouble? For paying in full 4 months in advance?). That is half the issues we had in the first 2 days, we stayed 5 days, the problems continued.

  2. Thank you for the review. Staying here next week. Been to Vegas dozens of times but avoided the MGM Grand because it is massive. Had an offer too good to refuse. I'm most excited for the lazy river! We don't eat here much, but we have been to Wolfgang Pucks Bar and Grill several times and it has been great. We like it for a quick, easy lunch.

  3. I've never stayed at the MGM Grand, it's too crowded and the rooms are way outdated. I prefer more modern hotels like Resorts World, Aria, Cosmopolitan and Wynn/Encore. The only time I'd go to MGM is to eat at Morimoto, one of the best sushi restaurants in Vegas.

  4. Hi Jay! I have always loved the MGM Grand; it truly is. Never stay in the West Wing, OMG! That use to be another hotel years ago, and MGM Grand purchased it and added it to the property, that is why the walk takes forever! Thank you for sharing! CAB ๐Ÿ˜Š

  5. When I think of the mgm grand it always reminds me of tupac and those tragic days and nights september 7th 1996 and september 13th 1996.

  8. The West Wing rooms are the cheapest but also the worst. They are renovated from the old hotel that was purchased and integrated into the space. Don't stay there unless it's your only choice.

  9. 20-30 years ago we stayed at the MGM for a week every Summer 5 or 6 times. Loved it every time. Our favorite thing about the property was the cabanas on the Lazy River, not cheap but 100% worth it!!! We would spend much more time in the cabana than the room. The food there is okay, the buffet is average, but it is Vegas, there are a million places to eat, so I don't care about that. Not a great place to gamble, I used to go across the street to Trop to play low limit BJ, the wife played Video Poker, I guess it was fine. We had a lot of fun at the "City Of Entertainment" and the only reason we don't stay there anymore is we live in Las Vegas now.

  10. How strict are they with the no outside food and drink policy? Just booked them and didnโ€™t even realize they had that. I usually like to bring a pizza into my room. Afraid theyโ€™ll not allow that.
