It’s a good way to be kept in the link of what’s happening when you can’t be there.
The deckchair vendors and the food vendors are starting to over charge everywhere, i think it's down to the amount of people on Youtube walking around making videos saying, it's so cheap here guys, look the deckchairs are as cheap as chips, so is it any wonder that the vendors are listening to this and thinking "Oh maybe i am to cheap i will put my prices up" next you know, we have the same prices as any other Western country.
i know it dont rain in the bars, but do the flood go inside the bar and wet your undee's 🩲 mate ?
The monarail would be awesome but still will give motorbike taxis business as the monarail is only to the main strips for general A-B . If you want to get around to Pratumnak or get out to soi bahkaow for example youll still need taxi or bolt .
Id much rather jump on a aircon train then sit in a hot baht bus in traffic also just everytime i wanna zip to and from jomtien pattaya city

I'm in Boston, we have a subway system that is great to get to specific places, a bus system that will get you to places the subway doesn't go, and then we can use Uber or taxis to go where busses don't. It all depends on where we are going and how far we're willing to walk. I imagine it'll end up being something similar there where everybody still gets plenty of business
IIRC, back in the 2010's the Thai government went after the beach vendors hard by outright banning lounge chairs and umbrellas for a while. Not sure if it was due to overcharging tourists or some other reason.
I don't mind the vendors so much in general – they're trying to make a living like the rest of us – but it does annoy me when they come up to me when I'm trying to have a snooze or just want to watch the sea in peace.
Aren't you going to cover the hello kitty convention.
As for the monorail . It also depends on the cost of monorail and if there is a wait to board it compared to bolt and the baht bus
Maybe use monorail when it's rainy or when it's super hot, otherwise I would take baht bus.

I know your time is valuable Trev, but a lot of us do enjoy the weekly updates. And yeah math logic says Soi 6 should be hosting at least 2-5 birthdays every single day LOL! Regarding the monorail, I think it depends on what they charge to use it. As long as baht buses stay at 10b they should be a competitive option. Same with Bolt/Grab motorbike. The cars/taxis may have an issue though.

I live in Honolulu, HI and we have built and are still building a rail system. It is massively over budget and late. I hope that Pattaya is able to pull this off better than we could. I'm always suspicious of public works that are fast-tracked. Too much room for mistakes and corruption. I hope to make it to Pattaya in the next year or so. Really enjoy your channel.

I've never been charged anything for using a chair by the chair vendors all along Beach Road when I buy a drink, drink it there and leave. I always give a small tip with my drink.
What’s the business climate looking like between soy six and soy 13? Are there any major bars retail locations buildings available for sale? Who’s the top-notch realtor in that area that’s got business and commercial real estate listings?
Coming there in early october definitely will be coming by the Buzzin Lounge.
The mono-rail link will connect to the high-speed train between Bkk and Rayong, so it will be both easier and faster to get from Bkk to Pattaya
