With the processes set up last time, it is now time for mass production. I certainly hope looks is the deciding facor for the mass production because the result was not super effective. Plan B is starting to look better all the time. Lets hope there is a plan B.

A great way to start the day, seeing a freshly posted Mick vid!
Before watching the video, I have a question for you Mick.
I tried the GFG and the Sterling. I have problems with both of them.
– GFG is very hungry of cold air, so energy hungry to make this cold air. It's a problem since they nerfed the possible output power to around 26k watts. On Mars, it requires so much Active vents…
– With Stirling, the problem is maintaining the correct amount of hot gas and pressure. It's very hungry on fuel but requires a less complex setup. But, it's only 8k watts per Stirling engine. If you put them too close together, the environmental efficiency drops due to the heat they procude around each of them.
The question now. You prefer Stirling over GFG? And why? Maybe it's on this video, but in case it's not how do you deal with the hot tank?
Thank you 🙂
have you guys just met the problem that when the rocket for transportation is done,no matter how you fill the fuel tank the command pad just displays that there’s no fuel and the ratio is wrong? This troubles me for a long time. I’ve tried to play the tutorial and the tutorial task also goes wrong, with the same problem. It would be so nice of you to tell me what should I do😢Thanks a lot!
I just want to say thank you for these amazing videos. I am so glad I found your channel. I have been watching this series and like how you explain things and talk us through the setups. Please keep up the content. I have been doing much of Space Engineers but got this game a while ago when it was an early release and found it too complicated now, watching your videos and your explanations of how things work make me want to start playing again. Did you add any more mods from the original video? I had seen there was a box for the "more IC commands" mod that was unchecked.
It wouldn't be a secret volcano lair without a cliff-side annex ready to self-destruct and unwelded frames to act as pit traps.
Curious, what buttons do you press to paint the whole pipeline ? I really enjoy watching the builds, thank you.
For the love of God – please turn that 2nd rocket's lever around!!!! 😂
A suggestion – that last bit of the mountain along your soon to be line of rockets should have a command centre for the rockets – a room with a good view of the rockets taking off, and where you can deck it out to have graphs and dials and levers to your heart's content.
Can't wait for the plant torturing to begin!
First, wind was broken, now the base is taking a leak. Sometimes I find a relog will fix the world/room issue
Mick – I had a dumb idea for your turbine fans that might help for them to survive from the heat that is if it might work.
Instead of having the fans run horizontal. Why not have them run vertical and put radiators in the tunnel to dissipate some of the heat and then in theory if there's enough pressure in the smokestack per se the fan should run and not get burnt up by the heat.
It's just a thought but I'm not sure if the game has that kind of thermodynamics built into it. If it does then maybe you can also use the heat bleed off from the radiators to go to another tunnel to build a pressure in it to run additional turbine fans.
Thank you so much, Mick for these wonderful videos. As a 74 year old woman with no coding background, I was struggling with logic until I started watching your videos. I even managed to download your Aimee ic and she is happily mining away. Your videos are not only educational, but also very entertaining. I am looking forward to all your future videos. Thanks again.
Soon you will be able to watch the world burn
Is your furnace setup auto-detecting the possible output based on the ingredients and adjusting to the correct temperature and pressure automatically or am I missing something? When you make complex alloys like stellite you never seem to need to fiddle with it much, you're just turning up the pressure and getting the right temperature.
I've seen this whole series but I missed how you programmed the furnace, if at all, and it seems different from what you did in your precision furnace build back in september of last year.
Or is it just that these alloys all happen to work for high temp? I haven't seen you make any solder in that hot gas furnace on video, I don't think.
Wel Mick maybe I have an idea for your power problems to come.
Have, finally, got the gfg to work simply and, for my power use, continues on Mars.
Gfg gives just over 12kW running on O2 and H2 at 2 kpa.
Nothing more the 4 vents to store night atmo, a volume pump as regulator to cool and pressurise the gfg
and a digital valve to release that pressure back in to the atmosphere.
Is a decent source of power.
You have to build it with plated walls. To withstand the pressure upto 150 kpa.
