State of Decay 2 New Haven – My Favorite Facility Mod

About:
ยป State of Decay 2 is a open world zombie survival game full of action and tragedy. Take control of a few survivors fighting against the relentless horde of the undead. Build up your base, forge alliances with neighbors and become more capable zombie slayers! Settings:
ยป Iโ€™m playing on Lethal difficulty with no mods.
ยป No radio freebies that weโ€™re given, so the only radio aid I may use is stuff I earn through enclaves of community members.
ยป No starting legacies boons.
ยป No legacy characters.

ยป Viewer Driven Content
Viewers will be able to help influence the direction and vote on how certain situations are handled. If you would like to influence the direction of this series I welcome you to join me on stream. This series is streamed live on https://twitch.tv/rhadamant5186

  1. FWIW I dislike egregious 'hard' cussing/swearing/WHY in games (& TV & RL in general!) slightly less than if the YT/online player does so; that being said I'll still play, watch & enjoy them despite this: it's a personal thing unrelated to content (I simply feel it's 95% unnecessary as it's now used so often out of context.. but my formative years were the 1970s when it was still less prevalent than post '70s IME&O)

"Bingo" in common usage (? may be just exploration/long-distance hauler-related) means the point at which a 2-way journey becomes a 1-way, so eg 'bingo fuel' means the point of no return for that trip: upon passing that point you can't go any further without your existing supply being too short for the return trip to a known resupply, NOT that that supply is (approaching) zero. Apologies for being pernickety, but having a scientist background makes me sensitive to misuse of terms (see above ;)) :)(

Back to the game-specific stuff: are max-lvl physical stat choices important to the survivability of your characters or do they simply dictate the way you'd play them (in /your/ opinion)?

Would it be worth retaining a junker vehicle in your base purely for use vs local juggs, hence saving on potential repairs & allowing for an emergency backup vehicle?

TVM for the vids regardless! :))

  2. Great watch. I get the urge to go turn my Xbox on every time I watch your videos. One day I will put it on the hardest level. It looks fun because it's actually a mind thinking game. You have to be precise to survive for the entire time.

  3. The Big Boss is definitely my favorite vehicle and I'll get a fuel outpost just to support using it, I do think hitting zombies with the plow should do way less damage to the truck than it does though. Cars are made to crumple so yeah even squishy rotten flesh is going to do something to them, a big hardened steel blade for excavating earth not so much.

  4. It's not something often mentionned about this game i think but the music/soundtrack is quite good at setting up atmosphere.
The one at around 2:00 is downright eerie and it fits an apocalyptic setting so well
In any case, it's good to see you playing this game again, take care Rhad and thanks for the content ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. I have a confession, you're now my favorite survival games streamer/youtuber to watch. 100% fun gameplay, 100% useful commentary, 0% rage/toxicity/vulgar language. Your videos help me a lot pass time at work so I don't get bored or fall asleep lol.
