Having same problem with water bottles in my game. There needs to be some other way to be able to hold water..
I found water bottles on the crashed plane.
There's also a great roomy backpack on that plane too plus tins of food & ammo in boxes outside the plane. Definitely worth a visit!
kage, there is a big bag at the plane crash, you can see it in your map if you zoom in a little near the place where you spawn… Also I think you should go see the trader, there you can give those blueprints and stuff to gain points that can be used to get skill points just like the books. I don't like to backseat, but just this once I think it should help you a lot.
Best place for Ali is cars, normally at least 3 in the engine either Ali copper or iron

Sometimes i see you doing non aggressive attacks instead of power attacking everything your spears would probably last way longer if you use more standard jabs instead of power power power, if it takes 2 more hits but your spear last 40 times longer its worth the 2 extra hits imo, this could totaly just be from a lack of stamina aswell and you have no control over it

I think this game has potential but a couple of things are really bugging me. The water mechanic is a little off imo, you need a plastic bottle to fill with water to put in a pot to boil then put back into the bottle, firstly we live in an age where plastic bottles are everywhere why are they so god damn hard to find in this game. Why not just fill the pot, boil the water and drink from the pot and lets be honest in a real situation you would use anything to carry water, you are going to boil it. The other thing that really looks wrong is the roads, they look like they have just been built yet the cars look like they have been abandoned for years. Sometimes its the small details that give these types of games the immersion that makes them great games.

Since i've got absolutely no idea how to kick start the crafting tree, i'm pretty much on a rinse and repeat atm. Read manuals / magazines and gift some to trader. Gain knowledge. Horde night happens. I die. Still don't have the option to make a simple plank of wood to make a simple box.

Well the horde was fast and scared the shitcoutta me. Lol as soon as I entered my base this roar thing kicked on and the zombies were immediately breaking through my spiked fencing. They were easy to handle, but be ready as they are on your base immediately after you hear that roar or scream lol happened right past nightfall. Didn't catch the time.

When you run out of stamina unequip your weapon. Your stanima bar recharges quicker. And you can use your benches as storage. And as other people said hit "r" to rotate items in your bag. And I made charcoal to level up metallurgy. You only have to be at the bench at the end of production time to get the points
This game needs some help — it is going on the right direction — But simple fix for water — if you can make charcoal and you have fine cloth — you can make a filter to make clean water – The game developer needs to understand that rain water with a filter would be clean drinking water

if you need more clay without having to run all over the map for one or two nodes at a time, you can find ore nodes of iron and clay in the white areas on your map. there should be a lot near your base
Hmm your loving this game then you might love scum. you say there is too much info to handle but it's not you simply ignore it in the beginning and eat what you can to survive that information is for mid to late game in order to min max your character for specific class types like how this game has a lot of info to just wait till "no one survived" start adding more to the food stats breaking it down into categories in the future just like scum

there is a nice two handed blade in the police station evidence room and one really nice clothe item behind locked door – The train station has a Military back pack in one of the carriage's – there is a nice rifle in the crashed plane –
thirst is a huge problem in this game. i think they really should improve the availability of bottles or cleaner water sources
Just saying… There are glass jars and water containers all over the world. It's not as hard to find one as the game makes it. Most foods have some water as well. One can scrape out a rock and make a water bowl that way as well.
You know you can hit them through the doors? In the police station just pull them at the main doors and close them… You can use that as an advantage
The game looks very old or something. Just not very modern
You don't need to sit in the bench menu to get the xp. You just have to be in that menu when the thing is finished smelting or crafting or cooking. I have done everything I needed so far without smelting or mining one ore. A lot of engine bays on cars have those ore bricks in them. I've only found 1 silver ore brick though. But tons of iron, aluminum and copper.
Also, I take all the doubles of books I have or have already read and sell them to the trader. That gives you relationship points that you can spend to learn specific skills with them. Beware, you can only have 100 points in the bank at a time. Do not keep adding skull magazines once you get to 100. It's just a waste after that.

Hope you realize how awesome that is and it's not an everyday thing, actually how rare that is for 130,000 people who actually took the time to hit the like button.. prob twice or triple that that watched and didn't only because people are generally lazy. Good job! I only say this because you seem so "nonchalant" and when that realization hits.. (future talk) don't pull an Elvis or a Whitney Huston lol 😉 Also, advertisers are about to notice this. But Im Big enough to say thank you for doing what you said your were going to do. howvever giving time is not something I can do easly knowing the past of some.
